As a gamer, I made a strategic decision early on to prioritize stronger attacks over defensive abilities for my character, Lu Jin. In the initial stages of his development, I opted for a balanced design, where a brief press of the defense key would trigger a Standard move. However, after some in-house discussions, we decided to take it up a notch and intensify his aggressive gameplay. Now, his combat style has been transformed: pressing the defense button twice rapidly within a short span gives him two Standards, but there’s a cooldown on his defense. This change aims to inspire more attacking and aggressive play from players controlling Lu Jin.
