The Washington Liberation Front (WLF) are shown patrolling the overgrown streets, coming across a group of survivors, one of whom asks, “Are you Issac?” – a character played by Jeffrey Wright, who also portrayed him in the game “The Last of Us Part 2.” Later in the trailer, Dina and Ellie encounter a swarm of infected in the subway, with the scene concluding as Dina points her gun at a shocked Ellie, hinting that she has now learned about Ellie’s immunity. Fans Believe Dina’s Reaction to Ellie’s Secret Will Be More Authentic Than It Ever Was in the Game

Consequently, it’s no shock to witness such alterations unfold across Season 2’s episodes. However, later in the game, when the duo encounter infected in subway tunnels, Ellie’s mask breaks, and Dina tries to give hers to protect her from spores. Ellie removes the mask, revealing she truly is immune, validating her earlier claim. Although Dina is taken aback by this revelation after escaping the infected, Dina’s pregnancy news overshadows Ellie’s confession. Now, fans speculate that this significant scene has been portrayed accurately in the series and showcased Dina’s authentic response to the situation.

In the game, a significant issue for me was the way the immunity aspect was handled, particularly in Part II. The immunity plot seemed to be glossed over excessively, and this was especially noticeable during Dina’s discovery scene at the end of Ellie’s first day in Seattle.

According to HBO’s recent trailer for The Last of Us Season 2, the subway scene involving Ellie and Dina is being expanded to provide a deeper, more realistic portrayal.
