We’ve gotten our first look at the actors who will play Link and Zelda in the new live-action Legend of Zelda movie!
A live-action Legend of Zelda movie has been in the works for a while, and it seems to be progressing again after a recent setback. Shigeru Miyamoto announced the actors for Link and Zelda earlier this year, and now we’re getting a first look at them in costume.
Official Images of Link and Zelda were Revealed through the Nintendo Today App
As a huge Zelda fan, I was SO excited to finally see the first official costume photos from the live-action movie! Nintendo dropped them on the Nintendo Today app (Vooks shared the news too). We got a really good look at Bo Bragason as Zelda, and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link. But the best part was the third picture – it showed both of them standing together, looking out over this amazing landscape that gives us a little peek at the world they’re building for the movie. It looks incredible!

Filming for the live-action Legend of Zelda series has officially started, and recent photos prove it. Over the past few days, leaked set videos and images have surfaced, showing the actors and other details. As expected, Link is wearing a green outfit and Zelda is wearing blue, mirroring their appearances in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. One scene also appears to feature a horse with a marking that includes the iconic Zelda symbol.
Exciting news for fans of The Legend of Zelda! Adam Scott, known for his role in Severance, is rumored to be cast in the upcoming live-action movie.
