At the ID@Xbox event, Don’t Nod Entertainment, creators of Life is Strange, unveiled their upcoming project: an action-RPG named “The Solitary Guild.

Developed by Tiny Bull Studios based in Turin, this top-down single-player action-RPG is expected to launch on both consoles and PC towards the end of this year.

The Lonesome Guild Has You Playing A Ghost

As stated by Don’t Nod, the video game titled “The Lonesome Guild” positions you as Ghost, a spirit devoid of recollections in a realm shrouded by solitude. Ghost’s mission is to assemble an eclectic group of six companions, each with distinct skills, backgrounds, and hardships.

As an enthusiastic gamer, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll effortlessly transition between intense combat and captivating exploration in this game. With Ghost’s companions by my side, I’m ready to unleash stunning combos! The creators assure us of dynamic combat, intriguing puzzle-solving, and a world filled with hidden gems. Simone Pellegrini from Tiny Bull Studios reveals, “Right from the start, The Lonesome Guild is all about forging connections. Our aim is to develop an ARPG that sets itself apart by making relationships not just a plot element, but a fundamental aspect integrated into the game mechanics themselves. We’re excited to unveil more insights about the world of Etere and its vibrant characters soon.

If you’re not acquainted with Tiny Bull Studios, they’ve recently launched two games – Omen Exitio: Plague on PC and Switch, along with Blind for PC and PS4 in 2019. Despite being smaller-scale productions, Omen Exitio garnered a “Very Positive” rating from the Steam community, making it a well-received title among players.

Don’t Nod recently unveiled their newest game, titled ‘Lost Records’, with its first installment, ‘Bloom & Rage’, launching just a week ago.

As a passionate admirer of Don’t Nod Entertainment, I can’t help but feel that their latest title, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, while critically acclaimed, didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of sales. Now, I hope and wish for a new success story from them soon, a game that will captivate us all once again.

The Lonesome Guild will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in fall 2025.
