When the assault on Onigashima commences, numerous battles ensue simultaneously, creating a confusing situation, particularly for those following week by week. Moreover, shocking disclosures contribute to this chaos, most notably the unveiling of the Sun God Nikka, who shares a connection with Luffy through his Devil Fruit. The Wano arc has sparked debate among fans due to its mix of impactful character developments and complexity, as it’s been packed densely by Oda, leading to it being the longest arc in the series so far.
