From figures like Jura and the Shinju Clones to the members of the disbanded Kara organization, fans have been introduced to many powerful and intriguing individuals, keeping the story exciting and full of surprises. These characters have divided fans, with some loving them and others disliking them.

The anime Boruto: Two Blue Vortex recently introduced Lord Kobu, a key advisor to the Fire Daimyo. Even though he’s only been in a few chapters, his actions and decisions have quickly made him unpopular with Boruto fans. It didn’t take long for viewers to start disliking his character.

Shikamaru’s Hokage Position Is Under Threat from Lord Kobu

Lord Kobu first appeared in chapter 26 of the manga Boruto: Two Blue Vortex as a representative of the Fire Daimyo, sent to observe Konoha. His appearance suggests he’s a suspicious character with hidden motives. He closely watches Shikamaru, who is currently acting as Hokage, and seems to doubt Shikamaru’s ability to lead the village effectively.

Lord Kobu arrived at a terrible time. Konoha is already being closely monitored by the Shinju Clones, particularly Jura and Mamushi, and Shikamaru is struggling to keep the village safe. Kashin Koji also wants to defeat Lord Kobu quickly, not only to relieve Shikamaru of a heavy responsibility, but also because Lord Kobu is a unpredictable threat who could cause more problems for Konoha.

Kobu neglected his duties by focusing on his own investigation instead of assisting Boruto and his friends in defending the village from Mamushi’s attack. However, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 30, Kashin Koji cleverly used Yamanaka Inojin’s Mind Transfer Jutsu to put Lord Kobu in a risky predicament.

Inojin’s abilities allow them to quickly kill Lord Kobu by making him fall from the Hokage office roof. Lord Kobu is a stubborn and confident leader who doesn’t scare easily, even when facing skilled ninja who could easily defeat him. He leverages his authority to control the ninja of Konoha, suggesting he possesses hidden strengths that make him a formidable opponent.

With Kobu verifying Shikamaru’s dealings with Boruto and Kashin Koji, Konoha could face serious problems. He might even try to force Shikamaru to step down as the acting Hokage and replace him with someone unqualified to handle the threat posed by the Shinju, putting the village’s safety at risk. This situation could ultimately lead to Konoha’s downfall, unless Koji manages to carry out his hidden plan to eliminate Kobu.
