New Create-A-Sim Content
All Create-A-Sim Content Introduced in the Base Game Upgrade
As a devoted fan, I’ve been thrilled to discover that the base game of The Sims 4 has been enhanced with an array of new features. Now, I can craft my Sims with an unprecedented level of realism!
In the Create-a-Sim (CAS) platform, you’ll find various characteristics added to the body, like freckles, rosacea, and stretch marks, in the Skin Details section under the Body menu. On the other hand, unique facial features such as face freckles and eye bags can only be customized if you are creating a new Sim or have activated the fulleditmode cheat prior to entering CAS. Unfortunately, the Face menu is not accessible without using cheats.
To unlock all customization features for creating Sim characters in The Sims 4, you’ll first need to activate cheats and then enter “CAS.fulleditmode” within the game’s cheat command interface.
As a seasoned gamer, diving into the game world feels like stepping into another dimension. After unlocking the high-tech Face menu, I discover a whole new level of customization! In the Skin Details and Eye Details sections, there’s an array of intricate options that let me tweak my character to perfection – making every pixel count.
Pack Selection
How to Enable and Disable Packs in The Sims 4
In The Sims 4, you no longer need to delete game packs if you want to play without them. Instead, just go to the main menu, pause the game, select Pack Selection, and toggle the packs on or off based on your desired experience. After that, you can enjoy playing the game without those specific packs.
Upon deactivating an active pack before resuming a game, some issues might arise when loading a saved file. In this case, players will encounter a warning message on their screen which offers them three possible solutions: carry on with the current operation, create a backup of the save file (applicable only for PC users), or reactivate the inactive packs.
As an enthusiastic user, here’s how I’d rephrase it: “For fresh starts, you don’t need to worry about this, but if you re-activate the packs and fail to remember to open your save file with disabled packs first, those packs will automatically be included in your game!
Without encountering a glitch or error, turning off a game pack won’t harm your saved progress as long as you don’t enter the game while it is turned off. So, players are free to turn packs on and off at will; they simply need to ensure that their choices in the Pack Selection menu remain consistent before accessing their saved game.
New Ailment Options
How to Toggle Ailments On/Off

In simpler terms, ailments were not included in the original game version, but are exclusive features for those who own the Enchanted by Nature expansion pack. After its release, players requested a significant change, which was subsequently made. Now, gamers can easily turn ailments on or off at their convenience within their Sims’ save files to prevent them from contracting these ailments.
In order to stop illnesses from occurring in The Sims 4, players need to navigate to the Pause menu, pick Game Options, access the Pack Settings tab, and then deselect the option for Ailment Spread in the Enchanted by Nature section. This means that Sims will no longer contract diseases naturally or by coming into contact with infected Sims. Instead, they can only get a disease through receiving a curse from a fairy Sim or leading an extremely unbalanced lifestyle.
