The next expansion pack for The Sims 4, called Adventure Awaits, will be released on October 2, 2025. Electronic Arts usually holds special events a few weeks before a new expansion comes out to build excitement among players. Since Adventure Awaits is all about childhood and imaginary friends, the developers are hosting an event called Forever Friends to match the theme.
Even if you don’t plan to buy the new Adventure Awaits pack right away, don’t miss the Forever Friends event in *The Sims 4*! It’s a great way to earn free rewards just by playing and completing quests. This guide has everything you need to know about the event.
When Does the Forever Friends Event Begin in The Sims 4?
Forever Friends Event Start Date
The “Forever Friends” event starts in The Sims 4 on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Based on past events, new quests will likely become available around 9 or 10 AM Pacific Time.
The first ‘Forever Friends’ quests become available on September 23rd. After that, new weekly quests will be released every Tuesday, with the final set launching on October 14th. The full event will begin once all the quests are live, giving players ample time to finish everything and collect all the rewards.
The Forever Friends event finishes on November 4th, giving players seven weeks to finish all the quests.

Free Rewards in The Sims 4 Forever Friends Event
We don’t yet know all the free items available during the event, but here’s what players can earn in *The Sims 4* by finishing Forever Friends Quests:
- Log in while the event is live: Plushie
- Complete Week 1 Quests: Magnet board, bracelets, recipe
- Complete Week 2 Quests: Picture frame, top, pillow
- Complete Week 3 Quests: Children’s toy, sneakers, leggings
- Complete Week 4 Quests: Jumpsuit, trait, onesie
Each week, players can earn rewards by finishing new quests. They’ll also have the chance to collect magnets, and we hope everyone can get them all placed on the board introduced during the first week.
