The new ‘Adventure Awaits’ expansion for The Sims 4 lets Sims of all ages go on vacations, and introduces imaginary friends who appear during childhood. Some Sims outgrow their imaginary friends, but others form strong bonds, making it hard to say goodbye when they get older.
So, EA’s doing this cool event called ‘Forever Friends’ to get us hyped for the next *Sims 4* expansion pack! Basically, it’s all about imaginary friends and how to keep them around longer in the game. They’re giving us rewards and quests focused on that, which is awesome because I’m really into building relationships with those little guys!
How to Complete A New Journey Quests in The Sims 4
Here is the first set of Week 1 Quests in the Forever Friends Sims 4 event:
Buy a New Stuffed Animal
Getting a stuffed animal is important for this event, because many of the first week’s challenges need one. In The Sims 4, you can find stuffed animals in the Kids section of Build Mode, under Toys. Any of the larger, seated plush toys will work. If you’re having trouble locating one, you can easily get Pixel The Friendly Bear as a login reward for the Forever Friends Quest.
Have a Child Hug the Stuffed Animal

The quest says you need a child Sim to hug a stuffed animal, but actually, any Sim can do it. All you need to do to finish the quest is interact with the stuffed animal and choose the ‘Hug’ option.
Toddlers must have Communication Skill Level 2 in order to be able to hug a stuffed animal.
Place a Stuffed Animal Near a TV

After getting the stuffed animal, players need to put it near a TV. The goal is to have their Sims play with it a lot! Since stuffed animals can be moved around in *The Sims 4*, you can just pick it up and drag it close to the TV while you’re playing.
Watch the Kids Network on TV
In *The Sims 4*, players can have their Sims (who are children or older) watch the Kids Network by selecting ‘Watch Channel’ and then choosing ‘Watch Kids Network’.
Buy a Toybox

In The Sims 4, you can buy toyboxes for kids by finding them in the Toys section of the Kids menu while in Build Mode.
Place a Stuffed Animal Near a Toybox

Once again, players have to drag the stuffed animal near the newly obtained toybox.
Play With a Toy From the Toybox
In The Sims 4, when you get a toybox, it already comes with toys inside. To have your Sim play with a toy, just click on the toybox and choose “Play With Toy.” A list of toys will pop up, and you can simply select one for your Sim to grab and enjoy.
Place a Stuffed Animal Near a Bed

Players now need to move the stuffed animal close to a bed. This doesn’t work with toddler beds – you’ll need to use a regular-sized child’s bed or a larger bed to complete this part of the game.
Have a Sim Sleep or Nap

To finish the final “A New Journey” Quest, players need to have their Sim sleep or take a nap on the bed while the stuffed animal is close by.
How to Complete the Friends Forever Quests in The Sims 4
The Friends Forever Quests are the next set of tasks in the first week of the Forever Friends event in *The Sims 4*. Here’s a guide on how to finish them.
Have a Sim Eat Something

Sims need to eat to begin their day, and they can do this with anything from a quick snack they’ve collected or grown, to a more substantial cooked meal.
Use a Toilet
To ensure that their Bladder Needs are full, Sims should also use the toilet after waking up.
Buy the Kate & Berry Sweet Treats Fabricator 3000 (Bonus Businesses & Hobbies Quest)
If you have the Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack, you’ll get two extra quests. One of them requires you to go into Build Mode and buy the Kate & Berry Sweet Treats Fabricator 3000. This is a small kitchen appliance that can only be placed on tables or counters.
Craft Candy (Bonus Businesses & Hobbies Quest)

After getting the machine, users need to turn it on and choose the ‘Craft Candy’ option. Any type of candy will work to finish the task.
Ask a Stuffed Animal About Today’s Adventures
After getting their Sim prepared for the day, players need to interact with the stuffed animal and ask what it wants to do. The toy will explain that it wants its memories to last forever, but it doesn’t have much time left.
Tell An Adult About the Problem
When Sims grow up, they’ll mention they start to lose interest in stuffed animals. But players won’t be happy with that answer – it’s up to them to find a way to make those beloved toys last forever.
Draw a Plan
Young Sims can create artwork at the kids’ activity table, while teens and adults can use an easel to do the same.
Share the Plan to a Stuffed Animal With a Child

Finally, Sims need to go back to the stuffed animal and let it know they’ve figured out a way to fix the problem.

In addition to receiving Pixel the Friendly Bear just for logging in during the event, players can earn six more rewards by finishing the first two quest lines.
