In ARC Raiders, collecting loot is central to everything you do. The Raiders venture to the surface specifically to gather resources, and there’s plenty to find – from materials for crafting to powerful weapons and items to sell. In fact, players might spend as much time managing their inventory at base as they do exploring. Every expedition to the surface becomes a careful calculation of what to carry back and what to leave behind.
It can be challenging to manage inventory, particularly when activities like the player Workshop in Speranza or Expeditions in ARC Raiders demand a lot of different items. Limited backpack space means players often have to decide which items are worth keeping and swapping out others. While the ‘best’ items depend on individual needs, there’s one item everyone should always make room for.
Blueprints Are the Single Most Important Item in ARC Raiders
As a big ARC Raiders player, I can tell you everyone agrees that Blueprints are the absolute most important thing to grab. Seriously, always loot them! I honestly can’t think of a good reason not to, unless you’re feeling generous and want to let a teammate or another player in a solo run have a chance at one. People are constantly talking about how valuable they are – I recently saw a post on Reddit from user mathieufoote who made a great point. They argued that even though some players complain about Blueprints feeling like roadblocks, the feeling of finding one is awesome, and the game gives you plenty of ways to adjust your strategy even without them.
Why Blueprints Are So Valuable
Blueprints are incredibly useful in ARC Raiders because they provide lasting benefits. Unlike most items in the game, which you can use as currency to create gear, improve your base, or sell, Blueprints permanently unlock the ability to craft top-tier equipment – like Wolfpack grenades and the powerful Anvil hand cannon. You won’t have to rely on finding these items from traders. In fact, some of the best gear in ARC Raiders can only be crafted after you discover its Blueprint – they’ll never be available to buy.
In ARC Raiders, when you discover a Blueprint, you can learn it and then use it to craft items in your Workshop. Even after you’ve learned a Blueprint, it’s still worth collecting because you can sell it for 5,000 coins – making Blueprints one of the most valuable things to find in the game, regardless of whether you need to craft anything with them.
Best spots to farm Blueprints in ARC Raiders:
- Formicai Outpost (Dam Battlegrounds)
- Raider Outpost East (Dam Battlegrounds)
- New District (Buried City)
- Shipping Warehouse (Spaceport)
- Control Tower A6 (Spaceport)
- Village (Blue Gate)
- Adorned Wreckage (Blue Gate)
- Pilgrim’s Peak (Blue Gate)
Most players of ARC Raiders probably consider Blueprints to be the most important item, but it really depends on what each player needs at the moment and what they value most. Some players might prioritize ARC Powercells and Rubber Parts because they can be used to craft Shield Rechargers. However, Blueprints always hold value, while things like Shield Rechargers are only useful when you actually need them.
