In the game called The Slormancer, there are three distinct characters for the player to select: The Knight, The Huntress, and The Mage. Among these three, the Mage is the one with the most mystical feel. As a Mage, you’ll lack durability against attacks, but you’ll be capable of dishing out significant damage very quickly.
One aspect of playing a mage that can be quite perplexing is the Arcane Clone ability. Numerous skills are related to this clone, yet understanding how to summon one and its functioning requires careful reading of detailed descriptions and delving deeper into the skill progression tree.
How Does Arcane Clone Work in The Slormancer?
The mage’s character isn’t difficult to manage, despite the mysterious Arcane Double that could deceive you. In reality, the Arcane Double is a byproduct of specific ability enhancements, not an ability in its own right.
Arcane duplicates persistently perform the same skill repetitively until a new one is cast by you. The skills discharged by these arcane duplicates deal the same damage as if you were casting them yourself, but they do so at a slower pace, with a reduced attack speed of approximately 35%.
All Skills and Skill Upgrades That Cast Arcane Clone

Through various spells, it’s possible to generate an arcane duplicate when specific enhancements are applied. In total, there are six game upgrades that grant players the ability to create arcane duplicates, with each upgrade becoming available at distinct levels depending on the chosen skill set.
Sr. No. | Skill | Skill Upgrade | Upgrade Tier | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Arcane Missile | Arcanic Delegation | III | Instead of casting Arcane Missile, you now create an Arcane Clone that continuously casts Arcane Missile. |
2 | Ray of Obliteration | Clone of Obliteration | V | Instead of casting Ray of Obliteration, you now create an Arcane Clone that continuously channels Arcanic Missile. |
3 | Rift Nova | Temporal Representant | IV | Instead of casting Rift Nova, you now create an Arcane Clone that continuously casts Rift Nova. |
4 | Attunement Pulse | Pulsating Clone | V | Instead of casting Attunement Pulse, you now create an Arcane Clone that continuously casts Attunement Pulse. |
5 | Orb of The Arcane Master | Orb of The Arcane Clone | III | Instead of casting Orb of The Arcane Master, you now create an Arcane Clone that continuously casts Orb of The Arcane Master. |
6 | Arcane Barrier | Defensive Clone | VI | Instead of casting Arcane Barrier, you now create an Arcane Clone that continuously casts Arcane Barrier. Arcane Barrier has a +3 seconds of Cooldown Time. |
How to Increase the Number of Arcane Clones in The Slormancer
Typically, only one Arcane Clone can be active simultaneously. But with the Mischievous Mage’s two skill enhancements, you can boost the number of clones, and these enhancements can be used together. However, it’s important to note that you need the Arcane Commander specialization to access them, as they are upgrades from the support skill: Arcane Barrier.
Sr. No. | Specialization | Support Skill | Skill Upgrade | Upgrade Tier | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Arcane Commander | Arcane Barrier | Arcane Chieftain | VI | You can control 1 Additional Arcane Clone. |
2 | Arcane Commander | Arcane Barrier | Arcane King | VIII | You can control 1 Additional Arcane Clone. |
