As a seasoned player of Disney Dreamlight Valley, I must say that The Timon Talk quest has been one of my favorites so far! It’s fascinating to see the growth and development of characters like Simba, who have come a long way since their first appearances in the original movies.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, Timon boasts about the transformation of Simba from his cub days into a powerful leader. He openly acknowledges having played a part in this development, which inspired him to introduce the Timon Talk concept.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll have to meet some conditions first to access the third Friendship mission for Timon. The Timon Chat quest involves several characters, and you should ensure they are all unlocked prior to starting this quest.

How To Trigger The Timon Talk Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

To initiate The Timon Talk mission, follow these steps:

Gather necessary items and capture an image of Timon for making a few billboards featuring him. Here’s the list of materials you’ll need:

  • Softwood x24: Located in various Biomes like The Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust. Additionally, you can buy some from Kristoff’s Stall or collect a couple by removing small and large tree stumps.
  • Gold Ingot x4: Combine Gold Nugget x5 with one Coal Ore to create one Gold Ingot using the Crafting Table.
  • Glass x24: Combine Sand x5 with one Coal Ore to create one Glass using the Crafting Table.

Arrange the billboards at Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Courage, Bright Opening, and Sparkling Shoreline. Have a chat with Simba and encourage him to attend The Timon Speech. Later, proceed to Pride Rock to observe Timon delivering an uplifting speech. Regrettably, the audience didn’t find The Timon Speech persuasive, so the Meerkat assigns you a task instead.

How To Complete The Timon Talk Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Because Simba had been raised on nutritious meals, Timon proposes gathering certain unique components and concocting strange dishes within the Disney Dreamlight Valley. The required items are:

  • Night Mushrooms & Night Thorn Nuts: Found in the secret chamber of Frosted Heights, where Olaf was first discovered.
  • Unfortunate-Fish Bones: Cursed Cave on Dazzle Beach, where Ursula is first encountered.
  • Clay-Soaked Salt: Fish a red/orange ripple in Sunlit Plateau.

Prepare a dish called “Radiant Violet Salad” and “Lamentable Fish Stew”, and afterwards serve them to Elsa and Anna for tasting. The sisters find no hint of leadership in these dishes, causing additional concern for Timon.

Afterward, he sends the Dreamers into the realm of The Lion King to gather some glowing insects called fireflies and present them to Moana. Meanwhile, Timon and Simba were gazing at stars prior to Simba’s ascension as a leader. Unfortunately, even Moana couldn’t detect any leadership qualities in these fireflies, causing the Meerkat to grow even more anxious.

In a last-ditch effort, Timon requests that players aid Donald Duck in beating his uncle by finding the treasure first using a map. The map shows three red symbols on it; one is close to the Glade of Trust entry, another is opposite the Cursed Cave entrance, and the final one is on a small island where Ariel was discovered. Use the boat stationed near Skull Island to navigate to Ariel’s island. Each chest you find will contain distinct gems.

Donald confesses he has no desire to be a leader after finding all the treasure chests, causing Timon to question himself. He advises you to consult with Simba and Pumbaa about the matter. Eventually, Pumbaa praises Timon as an exceptional friend, while Simba acknowledges that Timon stood by him through every challenge. Realizing his admirable traits, Timon decides to host a new Timon Talk using a fresh approach, thus concluding their quest.
