2024 can’t come soon enough for me, as I eagerly await my hands on Gilded Destiny! While I’ve encountered promotional content for this game popping up across YouTube, it seems to be flying under the radar compared to other titles. What piques my interest is that Gilded Destiny positions itself as a worthy challenger to Victoria 3, unfolding during the tumultuous Industrial Revolution era.
I’m quite fond of the concept, but I want a detailed explanation of the combat elements first, so that I can form a well-informed opinion rather than a hasty one.
19- Beyond These Stars
As a dedicated space enthusiast in Beyond These Stars, I find myself embarking on an extraordinary journey alongside a colossal spacefaring whale. My role is not just a passenger, but a builder, crafting thriving metropolises upon the whale’s immense back as we traverse through the cosmos.
The concept is intriguing, and I’m hoping that the elements involving cosmic exploration will manage to maintain my interest.
18 – Memoriapolis
The city-building game, titled Memoriapolis, is scheduled to launch on August 29th. In this role-playing scenario, you assume the position of a city leader. Your mission spans over 2,500 years, taking your city from Antiquity to the Age of Enlightenment. Each era will introduce fresh game mechanics and corresponding challenges for you to conquer. You’ll be responsible for resource management, navigating historical events, and transforming your capital city into a marvel of the world.
17 – Age of Mithology: Retold
Among my all-time favorite games is Age of Mythology, a cherished relic from my childhood that I dust off at least once a year for a few missions and to enjoy one of the best video game soundtracks ever produced (yippee!). It was disappointing to come across some comments on Steam about its poor performance, but those who participated in the closed betas have given it very positive feedback.
