The chilling prospect of joining the ranks of ‘the walking dead’ was a haunting reality they grappled with as they tirelessly battled to stay alive.

Throughout my viewings of “The Walking Dead” series, particularly during its early seasons, the quest for a cure was an unyielding priority. After paying a visit to the CDC in Atlanta, Rick Grimes and his group were left disheartened when Dr. Jenner informed them that no cure existed and they should abandon their search. Worsening matters, Dr. Jenner then chose to detonate the facility, taking Jacqui along with him.
