A fan had wondered what happens when a walker finishes eating, including if they can digest food. This is an intriguing question, given that walkers are often seen consuming various types of flesh without pause. Kirkman revealed that it’s highly probable that zombies are always defecating, making their already disturbing appearance even more revolting because they lack the capacity to use a restroom or change their soiled clothes, meaning they continuously roam with fecal matter in their pants.

I find myself amused by the idea that they’re constantly passing indigestible tissue, it simply moves on through. Quite entertaining!
