The Winter Floating Festival Event Puzzles In DDV

The Winter Floating Festival is now live in Disney Dreamlight Valley! Players can enjoy puzzles similar to those from the Haunted Floating Puzzle, found on a special temporary island. Starting January 7th, 2025, you can visit the festival, gather clues, and solve puzzles to earn exciting rewards. The event runs until January 28th, 2025, so don’t delay – some puzzles even require daily visits to the Winter Floating Festival in Disney Dreamlight Valley to complete.

The Winter Floating Festival In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Winter Floating Festival is held on a special winter island. You can get there by using the portal in the Plaza, or by clicking the ‘Teleport’ button on the event page. The festival features five puzzles, but not all of them will be available right away – new ones will unlock as the event goes on.

You’ll need to find some items in the Plaza to solve puzzles, which might require you to travel back and forth between Dreamlight Valley and the winter island. Here’s a guide on how to complete the Winter Floating Festival puzzles in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Solve The Oversized Frosty Rabbit Puzzle In DDV

While exploring the winter island, you’ll find a large, frosty rabbit wandering around. Check the small blackboard inside the café by the Wishing Well – it displays the daily hot cocoa flavors and explains that the rabbit is friendly and enjoys cocoa. To complete the frosty rabbit puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, give it a cocoa drink each day for four days.

To be safe, follow the daily cocoa specials schedule and give it the cocoa drink of the day.

Every time you give the rabbit food, you’ll receive a memory orb that will ultimately show you where the grand prize is hidden. Feeding the large winter rabbit will give you four shards and finish the memory sequence.

Based on the clues we’ve found, the best place to dig for gold seems to be close to the carousel, near the gingerbread chairs and fireplace.

You can find all the ingredients for this recipe on the Winter Floating Festival island, with the exception of Milk – you can use any Milk you’ve saved from previous valley gatherings if you have some. Just keep in mind that you must use the Festive Cocoa Bean for this recipe; the regular Cocoa Bean from Dreamlight Valley won’t work.

How To Solve The Combination Pillar PuzzlecIn DDV

To solve the combination puzzle, you’ll need to find the snowmen around the Winter Floating Festival island. They each wear one of four different hats: a bow tie, a cap, a beanie, or a top hat. Count how many of each type of hat there are, and then enter them in the correct order to unlock the puzzle.

The answer to the combination puzzle in DDV is Bow (1) → Top Hat (2) → Cap (3) → Beanie (4).

Open the newly spawned pouch to get the Dapper Snowman.

How To Solve The Chocolate Fountain Puzzle In DDV

To get the chocolate fountain working again, you’ll need to add 10 Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa, 15 Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa, and 20 Festive Mint Hot Cocoa. These are the same drinks you give to the rabbit. You can find details in the yellow book located in the café. Here’s where to get the ingredients:

Mint: One spawn every 5 minutes for a maximum of five near the winter rabbit’s house behind the café counter.

Festive Cocoa Bean: One spawn every 5 minutes for a maximum of five near a picnic blanket behind the houses near the café.

Sugarcane: One spawn every 5 minutes for a maximum of five near the pond between the carousel and train track.

Blueberry & Cherry: One Blueberry bush and one Cherry tree are found on either side of the Wishing Well.
Milk: Buy from Chez Remy in the Plaza.

It takes about 30 minutes for all ingredients to reappear, but the first three take the longest. If you give the Chocolate Fountain all the Hot Cocoa it needs, you’ll receive it as a gift in DDV.
