The game was cancelled, then revived, delayed, and now, rumors of its cancellation again? It feels like Bigby himself is playing a trick on me!

The Wolf Among Us 2 has not been cancelled at Telltale Games.

The confirmation follows speculation over the past day suggesting that the game may have reached a stage where Telltale might be compelled to postpone its release.

According to a statement given to Eurogamer, Telltale Games has confirmed to its fans that the project’s progress is continuing smoothly.

From my perspective, I typically avoid commenting on rumors or unverified Reddit discussions. However, work on The Wolf Among Us 2 is progressing steadily, and I can’t wait to reveal more details about the game to our devoted Telltale fans and community when the moment is perfect!

Originally revealed in 2017 and unfortunately put on hold following Telltale Games’ closure in 2018, The Wolf Among Us 2 has seen new life since the studio resurfaced in 2019. Initially slated for a 2023 launch, delays in development necessitated additional time, leaving us eagerly waiting for updates ever since.

In the year 2023, the studio underwent substantial redundancies, as reported by ex-cinematic artist Jonah Huang.
