Microsoft recently announced that three games will be featured at the Xbox Developer Direct event later this month. Fans wondered if those were the only games to expect, but a new report suggests at least one more game will also be showcased.
According to a post on the Reset Era forums by Shinobi, Xbox intends to reveal a fourth, unannounced game during its upcoming Developer Direct presentation. Another source quickly confirmed this information.
What Is This Fourth Game At Xbox Developer Direct?
Sources at VGC say a fourth game is in development, described as a potentially great indie game being published by a company other than the original developer.
No other details on what this game could be was mentioned by either Shinobi or VGC.
Even though these sources are generally trustworthy, keep in mind that plans can shift. It’s best to remain cautious and wait for the show to air or for official confirmation from TopMob before fully believing anything.
Xbox has confirmed that we’ll see gameplay of Forza Horizon 6, a deeper look at the abilities of the main character in Game Freak’s Beast of Reincarnation, and an extended preview of the upcoming Fable game. This will be the first time gameplay for Forza Horizon 6 has been shown, and the first extended look at Fable.
Last year’s event included games such as Doom: The Dark Ages, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 3. Attendees were also surprised by the unexpected release of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
