As an analyst, I’m drawing attention to a recent analysis by Peter Brandt, a seasoned trader with half a century of experience in financial markets. In his latest posting, he highlights a potential flag pattern emerging on the price chart for popular cryptocurrency XRP.
Flag patterns serve as signals suggesting a temporary halt in the directional price change of an asset like XRP, after which the previous upward trend is likely to continue. This particular pattern for XRP conveys a positive or bullish implication due to its prior uptrend.
According to the trader’s viewpoint, the cryptocurrency has approximately six weeks to finish its bullish pattern or else this pattern could become invalid. Brandt suggests that the flag in XRP should start performing strongly soon. If it doesn’t, though, it might transform into something different and, based on the trader’s words, it probably won’t be as clearly optimistic as the current pattern.
As a crypto investor, I’m keeping a close eye on the $XRP flag situation. If it doesn’t start moving within the next six weeks, it might transform into something unpredictable in the future. If XRP completes its flag pattern and breaks through its upper boundary, it could potentially experience a significant price increase. This surge might push the total market capitalization of XRP to an astounding $500 billion valuation, making it one of the most valuable cryptocurrencies.
Given that the current aggregate value of all XRP in circulation amounts to approximately $139.72 billion, the successful completion of a bull flag pattern could potentially lead to an additional 357.9% increase. This would cause the price of XRP to rise to around $8.70, surpassing its current all-time high more than twice over.
The question of whether XRP can achieve all it’s potential is still up in the air, however, what can be confirmed is that this once highly criticized digital currency has regained attention within the crypto market once more.
