Ticks Are Killing Some ARC Raiders Players Unfairly
Players are discovering a frustrating bug in ARC Raiders where the seemingly harmless Tick enemy can become deadly. While the new Vaporizer is meant to be the biggest threat, some players are being quickly defeated by Ticks they can’t remove. A recent Reddit post highlighted that if a Tick attacks while you’re carrying a battery or field crate, you’re unable to dodge roll or use the button to remove it, leading to unavoidable damage and death. A clip shared online demonstrates this bug in action.
So, a really frustrating bug is making it impossible to drop items, and we’ve all been trying to find a way around it – like remapping the drop button – but nothing seems to work. It looks like we’re just stuck waiting for the developers to push out a hotfix. One player put it perfectly – they said they’d died in some silly ways before, but this bug actually hurt their feelings! Seriously, everyone’s begging the studio to fix this ASAP.
