The Open Trial for Battlefield 6 has arrived, and one equipment setup is rapidly proving unbeatable. Due to the Assault class’s recent ability to carry two main weapons, players can swiftly adjust to any type of encounter. This new configuration offers numerous combinations that are ruling the Battlefield 6 Trial, but one outshines the rest: the extraordinary adaptability and close-range devastation of the NVO-228E Assault Rifle and M87A1 Shotgun combination.
In the Beta version, not all classes can wield two primary weapons. For those that can’t, selecting the optimal weapon becomes even more crucial. Engineers, Supports, and Recons still possess versatile loadouts capable of outperforming Assault class setups in various situations. The right weapon and attachment selection can transform these classes into reliable killers, enhancing their ability to control objectives in Conquest or defend against enemy offensives in Breakthrough, the latest game mode in Battlefield 6.
The Best Assault Loadout in Battlefield 6 Beta
The NVO-228E becomes accessible at Career Rank 5 and, although it has a slower firing rate compared to many assault rifles in the Beta version, it provides excellent control when fully equipped. On the other hand, the M87A1 is incredibly powerful in close combat situations, capable of one-shot kills up to 15 meters away and two-shot kills beyond that distance. It’s ideal for clearing corners on smaller maps like Siege of Cairo in Battlefield 6, but switching to a Sniper Rifle like the M39 for a larger map like Liberation Peak makes your loadout even more lethal.

BF6 Engineer Class: M4A1 and SGX
In Battlefield 6, the Engineer class boasts a notable standout weapon, the SGX SMG, but it’s particularly well-suited for wielding the game’s top carbine to date: the M4A1. Equipped with a Compensated Brake, 14.5″ Carbine Barrel, 6H64 Vertical Grip, 36RND Magazine, and Soft Point Ammo, this M4A1 transforms into a versatile rifle that performs exceptionally well in both confined and open maps. With a quicker firing rate comes increased recoil, but those who master it can swiftly destroy targets within seconds.
In Battlefield 6, as a gamer, I’ve found that the SGX, accessible from Career Rank 1, is proving to be an incredibly adaptable weapon. Fitted with a Linear Compensator, an Extended 8″ Barrel, a 6H64 Vertical Grip, a 36RND Magazine, Soft Point Ammo, and a 5MW Green Laser, it offers remarkably low recoil for its rapid-fire rate. Up close, it tears enemies apart, and even at mid-range, it holds its own against the carbines.

BF6 Support Class: L110 and KTS100 MK8
In Battlefield 6, players have two versatile options: The L110, offering all-round adaptability, or the KTS100 MK8 for exceptional precision. The L110’s features – Long Suppressor, 349mm Fluted Barrel, 100RND Belt Pouch, Full Metal Jacket Ammo, and Stippled Stubby Grip – provide superior reliability for any combat situation.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled about the KTS100 MK8’s exceptional performance. The ‘constant recoil’ system, reminiscent of its real-life counterpart, the Ultimax-100, ensures minimal weapon sway, making it a dream to handle. Equipped with a Single Port Brake, a 508mm MK8 Barrel, a 6H64 Vertical Grip, and Synthetic Tip Ammo, this beauty is capable of delivering accurate, sustained firepower that frequently results in a impressive kill count.

BF6 Recon Class: M2010 ESR
In simpler terms, during the Beta, the M2010 ESR is the sole sniper rifle available, but it performs admirably well. With additions such as a Flash Hider, 26″ Carbon Barrel, Full-Angled Grip, 5-Round Magazine, DLC Bolt, Rangefinder, and AG Coating, it transforms into an excellent headshot weapon. Although its default damage for body shots is ordinary, acquiring the Recon class-specific Killshot Field Spec ensures that headshots are instantly lethal and non-recoverable, which significantly alters the gameplay on expansive maps like Liberation Peak.
In the beta phase for Battlefield 6, which runs from August 9-10 and August 14-17, certain loadouts have proven particularly effective. While it’s uncertain whether these builds will continue to be top choices by the game’s official release on October 10, 2025, they currently offer excellent strategies for players eager to excel during the test phase.
