I’m already hooked on the spring 2026 anime season! We’re seeing a ton of isekai shows dropping, and honestly, it’s exactly what I was hoping for. The fantasy worlds this season are packed with seriously tough dungeons – some of the deadliest I’ve ever seen in the isekai genre! Let’s be real, a normal person wouldn’t stand a chance in these places. You need ridiculously powerful characters, like Rimuru Tempest and his crew, to even think about making it through!
The underground dungeon featured in the fourth season of TenSura is expected to be the most challenging one seen in any isekai anime airing in the spring of 2026. While Rimuru Tempest is powerful enough to easily clear it himself, that’s not true for other characters.
TenSura’s Dungeon Is the Hardest Dungeon in Isekai Anime Right Now
TenSura’s Dungeon Goes 100 Floors Deep
Tempest contains a massive 100-floor dungeon built by the Demon Lord Ramiris after she moved to Rimuru’s territory with her followers. Thanks to Rimuru’s assistance and the help of strong allies like Veldora and Milim, the dungeon was finished quickly.
Rimuru eventually opened the underground dungeon, first for a tournament and then to the public. Adventurers came from all over to try and conquer it, but none were successful. The vast majority could only make it to the first floor, and many complained that the dungeon was too difficult.
Rimuru’s dungeon is incredibly dangerous, filled with monsters of all strengths and deadly traps everywhere. It’s not just natural dangers either – the layout constantly changes based on Ramiris and Rimuru’s wishes, and it also contains artificially created creatures and earth golems equipped with high-tech weapons.
I watched as the survivors, if they even made it through the initial dangers, were confronted by a truly terrifying gauntlet. It wasn’t just the undead or the massive insects – there was also some kind of powerful, partially magical beast thrown into the mix! Even if adventurers like Hinata Sakaguchi were strong enough to overcome all that, they’d still have to contend with the four great dragon lords: Boreas, Notos, Zephyrus, and Euros. It was a daunting challenge, to say the least.

Veldora Tempest Is the Final Boss of TenSura’s Dungeon
TenSura’s Dungeon Has Never Been Cleared
Seriously, who could forget Veldora Tempest? He’s Rimuru’s best buddy, and it’s awesome seeing him roam around Tempest in human form these days! It’s a big change from his original, super-intimidating dragon form that used to strike fear into everyone! But don’t let that fool you, he’s still incredibly powerful – his name alone commands respect (and a little fear!) from both humans and monsters in that other world.
Veldora Tempest is currently the ultimate boss on the 100th floor of the underground dungeon in the Jura Tempest Federation. His powerful magical energy is what creates and sends monsters to each level of the dungeon. As the final boss, he’s known to be the strongest of them all. So far, only Hinata Sakaguchi has managed to reach Veldora, but she wasn’t able to defeat him.

Veldora passes the time while waiting for someone to challenge him by reading manga in his room. He only leaves to visit Rimuru or attend necessary meetings. Basically, this legendary Storm Dragon and powerful dungeon boss spends his days relaxing underground and enjoying a surprisingly easy life.

Rimuru Plans to Offer Dungeon Courses in TenSura Season 4
Completing TenSura’s Dungeon Grants Huge Rewards
In the first episode of TenSura Season 4, Rimuru Tempest addresses complaints from adventurers who find his dungeon incredibly challenging. Many aren’t able to complete even the first floor, and repeatedly return without any treasure, costing them a significant amount of money. While they aren’t harmed, accessing the dungeon is proving to be quite expensive for them.
Because ignoring adventurer complaints could cause problems later, Rimuru Tempest is planning to make the dungeon easier to navigate. Inspired by Masayuki’s advice, he’ll also offer training courses to help adventurers successfully explore and collect loot, even if they can’t reach the deepest levels.
To encourage adventurers and keep the dungeon profitable, Rimuru promises even greater rewards to anyone who can conquer its most challenging levels within a month.
