This Might Be Boruto’s Last Stand Against Jura

This article contains spoilers from the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.

Boruto: The Resolution of Two Whirling Vortexes

The series at last allows viewers a moment’s respite as Boruto and Kawaki conclude their confrontation with the most potent Shinju, Jura, in the Sand Country. A fresh storyline is on the horizon; however, the enigma surrounding Jura continues to pose significant challenges for Naruto Uzumaki’s offspring.

At the peak of the action in “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex”, an unexpected move by Jura sees him momentarily retreat from the battlefield. Yet, his departure doesn’t signify the end of the conflict; instead, it serves as a warning to Naruto Uzumaki that the main confrontation, Boruto Uzumaki’s final stand against Jura, is yet to unfold.

Jura Is Stronger than Boruto and Kawaki Combined

Jura Is the Strongest Character in Boruto Now

  • First Manga Appearance: Chapter 4
  • Species: Humanoid God Tree/ Direct Incarnation of Juvenile Ten Tails

In the anime series “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” it seems that nothing can prevent Jura, the most powerful Shinju Clone, from ruling supreme. Even without fully utilizing his abilities, he has proven to be a formidable opponent in his fight against Boruto and Kawaki, which took place in the Land of the Wind. With such strength displayed early on, fans are excitedly anticipating Jura’s continued display of power and the even larger battles that lie ahead.

Currently, Jura stands as the most formidable villain in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, boasting strength and chakra reserves that significantly outmatch both Boruto and Kawaki. His direct manifestation of the Ten Tails grants him powers beyond comparison to the legendary ninjas of the previous generation, including Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Furthermore, his intelligence only magnifies the danger he poses. Undeniably, Jura wields godlike power, making him an incredibly potent adversary.

Despite the fact it’s not a good practice, squaring off against an adversary as formidable as you ignites a sense of exhilaration within me that feels like my heart is leaping with delight.- Jura to Boruto (paraphrased)

In simpler terms, the new Boruto chapter revealed that Jura wasn’t taking his fights with Boruto and Kawaki very seriously, hinting at a much greater power than previously depicted in the manga. Given his formidable strength, every battle he enters could potentially tilt in his favor. This leaves Boruto with the pressing task of swiftly defeating Jura.

Boruto Should Master Karma Before Fighting Jura Again

Boruto’s Last Stand Depends on His Karma Mastery

It’s well-known that Boruto struggles to master the power of karma. So far, this power seems to hinder rather than help him in battles. Rather than utilizing karma, Boruto prefers to keep a tight rein on his body by refraining from using its power. Instead, he has been focusing on his other skills, such as combining Rasengan Uzuhiko and his Flying Thunder God technique in his attacks.

To put it simply, for me as a fan, ensuring Karma’s power stays distant equates to preventing Momoshiki Otsutsuki’s comeback in the Boruto series. So far, Boruto has been exceptional in keeping Momoshiki at arm’s length, making us fans rather antsy for his reappearance in the Boruto manga. In fact, during the battle with Jura, despite Karma resonating with Kawaki, Boruto managed to maintain his composure, a feat that truly showcases his growth.

To stand a chance against a formidable foe like Jura, Boruto must tap into his maximum potential. By mastering the complete might of karma while maintaining control over Momoshiki Otsutsuki, he could potentially turn the tide in the crucial showdown with Jura. It’s plausible that he could meet or even exceed Jura’s strength, which would compel Jura to play defense instead.

Boruto’s Next Power-Up If Karma Fails

Boruto Might Finally Unlock Jogan

Should Ikemoto and Kishimoto opt to challenge Boruto further, it would be intriguing if they endowed him with a fresh power boost to offset any lost advantages. Given the manga’s penchant for the unexpected, who knows what twists and turns Boruto’s story might take once the Karma power wanes?

In most anime series, characters who seem to be at a disadvantage often gain an advantageous power surge during critical battles. It’s plausible that Boruto could follow this pattern, particularly when facing off against Jura. There’s speculation that he may unveil a new power known as the Jougan, a previously theoretical dojutsu that has only been depicted in the anime so far. Fans are eagerly anticipating its official confirmation during Boruto’s most significant battle. For now, it appears that Boruto could benefit from a much-needed power enhancement. Whether he will fully master the Karma or uncover the Jougan is yet to be seen in Boruto, but it certainly isn’t out of the question.
