Spring is here now, and for those who enjoy spending time indoors playing video games, especially on an Xbox or compatible PC, you’ve got plenty to look forward to! Microsoft has prepared an exciting lineup of Xbox games this season to keep you entertained.

Although not all of them are top-tier games, the ones we’ve listed are definitely worth checking out or keeping an eye on. It’s uncertain if the upcoming games will be worth the investment, but so far, they seem promising based on our experiences playing them.

Here’s my take: This spring, I’ve been keeping an eye on the top five games that have made a splash. However, it’s always exciting to see a hidden gem pop up unexpectedly and leave us all in awe.

The First Berserker: Khazan – DNF Devs’ Souls-Like Action-RPG

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve got to give it up to Atomfall for nailing the Immersive Sim genre. They went against the norm, dared to be different, and delivered an open-world experience that breaks nearly every conventional rule. It’s not often you find a game that truly pushes boundaries like this one does.

South of Midnight – Coming of Age Tale With a Supernatural Twist

Published by Xbox Game Studios, South of Midnight is an action-adventure game where you encounter supernatural beings from the Deep South. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Belle Opaque Old-School RPG

Kepler Interactive handles the publishing duties for this game that draws inspiration from classic RPGs such as Final Fantasy on the PS1 and even games by FromSoftware.

The Upcoming Preview for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on TopMob indicates an impressive build-up towards its release. The game developer, Sandfall, is creating a universe that promises to rival the visual spectacle of top-tier blockbuster games, all while offering it at an affordable price of $49.99.

DOOM: The Dark Ages – Slaying Medieval Style

In a fresh turn for the DOOM series, the game development team at id Software returns with a new installment in the franchise. Instead of setting the action in our modern world, this time the Slayer finds himself transported to the brutal, blood-soaked battles of the medieval era. In the preview for TopMob’s Gameplay, “Doom: The Dark Ages” seems to be an evolution from its past versions, maintaining the core essence of the series. While “Doom Eternal” was enjoyable, it didn’t quite capture the spirit of Doom. However, in “The Dark Ages,” making the combat more grounded and less frenetic appears to be a wise choice.
