This Week Is The Best Time To Get A House In Final Fantasy 14

Players of Final Fantasy 14 will soon get an opportunity to own a house in Eorzea, as the housing lottery system is set to offer hundreds of virtual homes from July 21 onwards. The housing demolition timers in Final Fantasy 14 were reactivated on June 6 across all North American data centers, with a maximum timer of 45 days that could expire as early as July 20 and 21 for those who haven’t logged in since then.

The news emerged during a quiet period before an update for Final Fantasy 14, following a dip in active subscribers after the release of the Dawntrail expansion. Many players have voiced their worries and dissatisfaction about the game’s development. In response to player complaints regarding the Forked Tower raid in the Occult Crescent, producer and director Naoki Yoshida of Final Fantasy 14 unveiled some modifications to make the raid more accessible for groups of up to 48 players. Further changes, including new Viera and Hrothgar headgear, are set to be introduced in Patch 7.3 and subsequent updates.

Starting from June 6th, when the auto-demolition timers for housing plots in Final Fantasy 14 were reactivated, a significant number of virtual real estate opportunities have emerged across the North American data centers: Aether, Primal, Crystal, and Dynamis. Many players have been vocal on the game’s official subreddit about this upcoming wave of open housing plots. They’ve highlighted that over 400 plots are now available due to several demolition timers reaching their maximum duration of 45 days between July 20th and 21st.

Given Final Fantasy 14‘s lottery-based housing system, which requires five days for entries and four days for results and claims, the next entry window opens on Monday, July 21st at 11:00 AM Eastern, with results announced on Saturday, July 26th, also at that time. This means players have a prime opportunity to secure their very own virtual property!

Final Fantasy 14 House Hunters Have a Chance to Try Their Luck

In the game FF14, the number of vacant plots on servers such as Sargatanas, Balmung, and Leviathan may change, so players are advised to explore each residential area and adjust their expectations accordingly. For players based in Europe, a similar chance will present itself in September, as the automatic housing timers for the Chaos and Light data centers will reactivate following the release of Patch 7.3, which is expected in early August.

On July 24, during the 88th installment of Live Broadcast, Final Fantasy 14 will unveil additional information about Patch 7.3. Since player housing updates are anticipated, it’s uncertain exactly what specific details they’ll disclose.
