Right now, there are two ways to play Embark Studios’ new game, Arc Raiders. You can play alone, or team up with two friends. Players are already sharing their experiences online, and they’re quite different depending on the mode. Some enjoy playing solo, finding it a cooperative experience against the robot enemies. Others say the three-player mode is much more intense, with player groups being even more dangerous than the robots themselves.
Arc Raiders Players Want a Duos Mode
A Reddit user, MediumDefinition2480, recently suggested that Embark Studios add a duo mode to the game Arc Raiders. They, and many others, would prefer the option to play with just one friend instead of a full team. The idea has become very popular with the Arc Raiders community, quickly receiving over six thousand upvotes in under ten hours. Players are excited about the possibility, saying a duo mode would significantly improve the experience for those currently playing the trios mode with only two people. This isn’t a new request – Elden Ring Nightreign also launched without a duo option, but it was later added based on player feedback.
Although the game is brand new, players are eager for Embark Studios to listen to their feedback as development continues. Recently, gamers have asked the developers to make cosmetic items more affordable in Arc Raiders. These items don’t affect gameplay, but many feel they’re too expensive for a game that you have to pay to play. For example, some fans pointed to the Deep Sea Bird set, which includes a hat for Scrappy costing 900 Raider Tokens.
Despite being released less than a week ago, Arc Raiders is already showing strong potential for future growth. Embark Studios has shared a roadmap detailing new features and events planned for November and December. Players are excited about the current content and optimistic about what’s coming next for the game.
