How To Complete Fonos Basin Treasure
The quest comes with four objectives that players will need to complete in order to beat it:

- Open the Mysterious Chest in the northeast of the Fonos Basin and collect the Collection Codex: Fonos Basin’s Mysterious Copy of a Map
- Refer to the Collection Codex: Mysterious Treasure Map to acquire treasure
Talk To the Treasure Hunter
To get started, locate the Treasure Hunter situated near the Fonos Basin Waystone. He is conveniently positioned right beside the Waystone, so players can simply warp there (after it’s activated), and they will have no trouble finding him. Upon speaking with the Treasure Hunter, he will request you to look for a hidden treasure by engaging in battles against the orcs that occupy this region.
Defeat The Orc Shaman
To accomplish this goal, players may encounter numerous Orc Shaman adversaries. They’ll need to defeat quite a few of these enemies to eventually uncover the Treasure Key.
Ultimately, once a player has overcome an Orc Shaman in battle, one of those shamans may drop the key. The player can then collect it from the floor, as it will not be added automatically to their inventory.
Open The Mysterious Chest
The player, with the key safely tucked away in their pocket, should locate a chest close by, which is unlocked by the key. This chest can be discovered among an orc camp, nestled inside a small hut that players need to ascend to reach. Do beware of the orc adversaries patrolling the area, as they might pose a challenge when encountered in large groups.
After locating the treasure chest, give it a try by engaging with it to make it open. Similar to the Treasure Key, the chest will automatically release the map onto the floor for you. To proceed with your quest, gather the map off the ground.
Find The Treasure
The map you’re looking at is merely an image, and quite puzzling at that. It indicates where players might locate the hidden treasure. Yet, not only is it tricky to discern the precise location the map reveals, but the treasure can be accessed exclusively during a specific time of day.
The location is close to the Boonstone marked on their map, specifically southwest from the icon. It serves as an arena-like area with a stairway ascending towards the Boonstone. At its foot lies the treasure.
