Throne And Liberty: How To Change Servers

Throne And Liberty: How To Change Servers

As an ardent fan of MMORPGs, I’ve seen my fair share of server transfers and the chaos that ensues.

In “Throne and Liberty,” there are numerous methods for players to engage with each other, whether it’s teaming up as a guild or clashing in Player versus Player (PVP) battles. To enjoy the game with your friends, ensure you’re all on the same server, as this server will have factors that determine who you’ll be interacting with.

In the early stages of Throne and Liberty, numerous servers were made available for those who opted to join the game during its early access phase by paying a fee. If you’re planning to jump in at the official launch, you might be curious if players on your server will have already spent five days playing ahead of you. Here’s a breakdown of how servers work and what options are available for transferring between them.

How To Change Servers In Throne And Liberty

Obtaining a Server Migration Pass is necessary when switching to another server. You can find this pass in the shop, located at the top-right corner of the main menu. The Server Migration Pass costs 750 Lucent, and you’re only allowed to buy two per day. To initiate the server change, remain within the shop and search for the “Change Servers” button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Before you can transfer servers, there are nine things that need to be clear first:

  • Your character is level 1 or above.
  • You are currently in a safe zone.
  • You are currently not in a party.
  • You are currently not in a guild.
  • You do not have any pending guild applications.
  • You have no unclaimed Auction House Items.
  • All mail has been claimed.
  • All Shop Storage Chests items have been claimed.
  • All Gate Of Infinity rewards have been claimed.

If everything is understood, you’ll be granted access to the ticket. These tickets are referred to as “1 Day Passes” because upon activation, you get 24 hours to decide which server you wish to connect with. After choosing a server that isn’t at capacity, you can initiate the transfer process, and then you’ll be logout from the game momentarily before rejoining in your new selected server. Some servers have platform restrictions, meaning players cannot participate in cross-play unless they prefer otherwise.

All progress made in your old server will carry over to your new server.

Early Access Servers Vs Launch Servers

Throne And Liberty: How To Change Servers

Characters created prior to the official game release are only allowed on launch servers, while those made during Early Access can access these servers but will start at a disadvantage as they’ll be behind other players. Characters from Early Access cannot move to launch servers, ensuring that they won’t have an edge in PVP immediately after the game launches and instead must compete on equal terms.
