As an experienced player of Throne and Liberty with countless hours spent exploring every nook and cranny of its vast world, I must say that Treasure of Daybreak is one of the most intriguing quests I’ve ever embarked on! It’s not just another run-of-the-mill fetch or escort mission; it requires patience, precision, and a bit of luck.
Treasure of Daybreak is one of the more confusing Exploration quests in Throne and Liberty. It works a little differently compared to many other world quests, and while it’s not as complicated as some players might think, completing it requires both patience and precision.
Finishing side missions such as the Treasure of Daybreak offers an effective method for rapidly increasing character levels in the game Throne and Liberty. If you find yourself needing to reach a specific level before moving forward with the main storyline, then this particular side quest should definitely be on your list.
How to Find the Treasure of Daybreak in Throne and Liberty
In Chapter 6, entering the Monolith Wastelands initiates The Treasure of Daybreak quest for you. This location is situated just beyond Vienta Village, but to continue with the mission, you’ll need to climb the cliff that faces south. Be prepared, as this region teems with aggressive creatures. If your character is a DPS class in Throne and Liberty, you should be able to dispatch them swiftly. Otherwise, it’s best to outrun them.
- Defeat Flame Fighters until a Loot Chest Key drops.
- Go to the Sandflame Bandit Base and look for a locked chest containing a map.
- Go to the location drawn on the map.
- Find and open the hidden treasure.
In the southern expanse of the Monolith Wastelands, you’ll encounter groups of outlaws known as Flame Fighters. These areas are densely populated with them, so engage in combat until one drops a crucial key. After securing the key, search for a treasure chest within the Sandflame Bandit Camp (marked on your map). This chest is said to hold a map leading to the famed Treasure of Daybreak.
Treasure of Daybreak Location
The treasure is hidden somewhere within the desert, specifically close to two stone obelisks situated towards the north, notably near the Sandworm Lair landmark. If you’re in the correct position, you should come across a Mysterious Book positioned next to one of the obelisks. Keep in mind that other players engaged in this quest might be lurking around as well.
As a treasure hunter, I can tell you that the map isn’t just about marking the location of the loot; it’s also a hint. The treasure will manifest approximately a minute after the break of dawn, which is why it bears its name. You can keep track of the in-game time by simply hovering your cursor over the circular icon situated at the upper-left corner of your mini-map. This should reveal a timer counting down to when daylight emerges.
You could either choose to wait until dawn or engage in some other activity during that time. Since Specter’s Abyss in ‘Throne and Liberty’ is straightforward and swift to complete, it might be worth joining a queue for a run if you have some spare time.
