Throne and Liberty Update Adds the Startree Solstice Holiday Event

As a seasoned adventurer with countless hours spent traversing the vast landscapes of Solisium, I must say that this update is nothing short of a game-changer! The improvements to Field and Arch Bosses, War Games, and Fishing are particularly noteworthy for those of us who live by the sword (or the fishing rod)!

The holidays have arrived in Throne and Liberty. The MMORPG from NCSoft and Amazon Games. The Startree Solstice event begins tomorrow, December 12th, and runs through January 9th, 2025.

At Snowdrift Island, a unique location set aside for special events, you’ll find action-packed arena matches, a lively festival village, and stylish themed items that can be purchased using the Event Pass. The arena offers an exclusive 6 versus 6 Player vs Player (PvP) mode for a limited time on a fresh, never-before-seen map.

Another option available is the Tree of Thanksgiving, offering participants an opportunity to collect different holiday-themed prizes as rewards.

In the latest version of our free-to-play MMORPG, we’ve implemented a new rule: Players who abandon a dungeon group once it has been formed will now need to wait for ten minutes before they can rejoin the queue. Frequent offenders will see this waiting period increase.

Furthermore, Contract Managers have made some new culinary agreements accessible, while the update details also encompass various changes in the cooking sector.

Throne and Liberty Update Adds the Startree Solstice Holiday Event

Startree Solstice Event

From December 12, 2025 to January 9, 2026, the Startree Solstice celebration will spread festive joy throughout Solisium. Participate in exclusive Snowdrift Island arena battles during the event for unique rewards, discover charming holiday-themed villages adorned with decorations such as Trees of Gratitude, collect themed items like the Jolly Arsenal weapons through the Event Pass, and much more! Even Gigantrite and your Amitoi will join in the fun.

I appreciate your understanding during the time we were addressing the complications with Arch Boss battles. We acknowledge that these difficulties have been inconvenient for some of you, and to provide another chance, we will be hosting a temporary event from December 12, 2024, through January 9, 2025.

At this gathering, Arch Bosses are expected to appear two times on their usual days, one in a tranquil state and another during turmoil. The extra appearance will happen at 6:00 p.m. server time, while the regular 8:00 p.m. time will also host a boss as scheduled. Bon voyage, culinary explorers! Recipe Corner – Culinary Adventures

  • New Cooking contracts can be obtained through Contract Managers.
  • The number of unique cooked food items has been reduced by the consolidation of food quality levels.
  • General dishes are now crafted as Uncommon grade, Banquet and dungeon ingredient food as Rare grade, and elixirs come in Rare or Uncommon grade depending on the materials used.
  • The quality of materials used when cooking now determines the quantity of meals received.
  • Rare materials consume 1 ingredient and produce 3 completed meals.
  • Uncommon materials consume 3 ingredients and produce 2 completed meals.
  • Common materials consume 5 ingredients and produce 1 completed meal.
  • Ingredients for Banquets have been adjusted to account for the new grade consolidation and numbers of meals produced through Cooking.
  • Ingredient gathering and drop rates have been adjusted due to the change in quantities consumed and number of meals produced through Cooking.
  • Previously obtained high-tier ingredients intended for use in Banquets can be exchanged for updated rare ingredients through the Dissolve system.
  • All recipes may now be crafted at both Cooking Ovens and Campfires.

Dungeon Matchmaking Penalty

  • A cooldown time is now applied for characters who cancel dungeon matchmaking after a party is matched or after entering a dungeon through matchmaking.
  • This cooldown prevents you from queueing for another dungeon immediately. The timer starts at 10 minutes and will increase with subsequent additional cancellations.
  • Re-entering an already completed dungeon using Party Matchmaking while the previous instance is still available results in a matchmaking penalty being applied upon leaving the instance. If re-entering the same dungeon using Party Matchmaking, make sure the previous instance has been cleared before doing so.
