tinyBuild Connect 2025 Showcase: Every Game Reveal And Trailer

At present, the publisher and creator tinyBuild unveiled their 2025 Connect presentation on YouTube. During this broadcast, a total of 14 independent game titles received trailers and updates.

The information spanned a variety of topics, including updates for existing games, timeframes for Early Access phases, and unveilings of entirely new, previously unreleased titles.

I’ve had a chance to try out some of these games, and I must say that the previews from tinyBuild have left me eager and curious for more. Given my past interactions with VOIN, Trainfort, and Hello Neighbor 3, which were all part of their showcase, I can’t wait to explore the rest of the lineup as well.

Here you’ll find all the latest trailers from the showcase, plus updates about games that are already available. Let’s dive in and check it out!

ALL WILL FALL

Open Beta Date Revealed

In just a short while, the eagerly awaited game “All Will Fall” will be entering its open beta phase on June 6, 2025. Being an avid follower of city-building games from my childhood, this game piqued my interest right away.

In simpler terms, “All Will Fall” is a game that positions you amidst the ocean, tasking you with creating a prosperous city using physics principles. Your goal is to establish a city as effectively as possible.

Following the style of a classic physics-based game, expect both humorous and poignant instances as your structures may exceed their stability limits or lack proper design, causing them to topple over.

Drill Core

Coming Out Of Early Access

Since September 2024, Drill Core has been in the Early Access phase, and today, tinyBuild announced that it’s almost time for its final 1.0 version launch. The game has received a “Very Positive” rating from Early Access players on Steam, so this full release brings exciting news!

On July 17th, 2025, expect the release of a “strategy game with survival elements, focusing on base-building and roguelike mechanics.” Additionally, a Switch version is being developed, although it appears it will be released at a later time.

This game appears to be an exhilarating, disorderly experience where you manage a squad of miners, gathering resources from distant alien worlds.

DUCKSIDE

Quacking Onto Consoles

In simple terms, DUCKSIDE is an unusual multiplayer shooter game, featuring base-building elements. If you think it resembles other games you might have played before, let me clarify – it doesn’t. What sets this game apart is that you control a duck character, equipped with lethal weaponry instead of the usual arsenal for human characters.

As an enthusiast, I can’t help but chuckle at the sight of this game! If you’re interested, it’s currently available on Steam for PC gaming. Excitingly, the news that DUCKSIDE is also making its way to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in August has me pretty thrilled. Can’t wait to give it a spin on those platforms!

FEROCIOUS

Public Playtest Is Open

For seasoned gamers, the trailer for Ferocious is bound to evoke memories of Turok, and that’s a positive association. This survival-shooter game places players in a battlefield where they confront both dinosaurs and human adversaries.

TinyBuild unveiled a thrilling, fresh trailer for this upcoming title and announced that the community playtest for ‘Ferocious’ has begun. Head over to Steam to immerse yourself in the gameplay right away!

Today, a fresh game named Hozy was unveiled, and it appears captivating. This game seems incredibly charming as it offers players the opportunity to declutter, clean, arrange, and embellish various rooms within a house. The visuals and presentation in

As an excited fan, I can’t help but share that while today marks the official announcement, the playtest for Hozy has been accessible on Steam all along!

Kingmakers

Early Access Date Revealed

Kingmakers presents a striking blend of ancient medieval combat with a touch of contemporary warfare, merging elements of a third-person shooting game and a real-time strategy (RTS) title.

Here, we’ve got swords, armor, firearms, armored vehicles, and motorbikes all involved, creating a strategic nightmare that appears incredibly enjoyable.

Kingmakers will release into Early Access first, with a target date of October 8, 2025.

Of Ash & Steel

New Trailer Shown Off

Among all the games presented, Of Ash & Steel stood out as the most expansive and daring in concept. It’s an open-world role-playing game set in a medieval/fantasy backdrop, promising an immersive experience that players will find hard to resist.

In the upcoming sneak peek, you’ll catch glimpses of various settings, personalities, actions, and beings that you might encounter should you choose to explore this world. The game titled “Of Ash & Steel” is set to undergo a limited playtesting session soon.

SAND

Announced for Consoles

Excitingly enough, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of SAND on PC via Steam. But here’s a thrilling twist! Today, it was announced that this intriguing extraction shooter is also making its way to consoles this year, specifically the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Can’t wait to jump into the action across multiple platforms!

As a gamer, let me tell you, this game is undeniably one of the most visually striking extraction titles I’ve ever come across. In this adventure, I find myself stranded on a desolate planet where survival hinges on constructing an imposing, sand-roaming mech to navigate the harsh, unforgiving landscape.

More news about timing is forthcoming, but SAND is still expected to be released in 2025.

SpeedRunners 2: King Of Speed

Playtest Coming Soon

Speedrunners, as its title suggests, is a fast-paced platform game centered around, you guessed it, speed! The sequel, Speedrunners 2: King of Speed, will be available on Steam this year and console versions are anticipated to launch in 2026.

The trailer showcased a thrilling 64-player real-time competitive mode, appearing intense, disorderly, yet enjoyable in every aspect.

This one also has an impending Playtest, expected this summer.

Streets Of Rogue 2

New Trailer Revealed

As an enthusiastic admirer, I couldn’t help but share the exciting news about the upcoming appearance of Streets of Rogue 2! A tantalizing trailer has been unveiled, hinting at its potential release in Early Access this year. If you can’t wait that long, a demo is readily available on Steam, offering a sneak peek for eager fans like myself!

Without a doubt, the humorous tone of the voice-over in this trailer makes it an entertaining watch. Beyond the humor, Streets Of Rogue 2 appears to be a delightful, engaging isometric sandbox RPG that promises to appeal to both casual and action-focused gamers.

The King Is Watching

Release Date Revealed

Following along, I’m excited to share with you “The King Is Watching,” a captivating production by Carbot Animations, the same team behind those riotously funny and animated Elden Ring spoofs that took the internet by storm a few years ago. Now, they’ve unveiled an astonishing new trailer for this one!

In this game, you’re the ruler overseeing a city-building adventure that boasts an intriguing mechanic rarely seen in similar genres. As their monarch, you manage your city and its inhabitants, but here’s the twist: they’ll only comply with your wishes when you observe them closely.

Currently, a demonstration of The King Is Watching is available. Alongside an impressive teaser, it has been officially disclosed that the game’s release is set for this July by tinyBuild.

Trainfort

Game And Playtest Reveal

I’ve had the opportunity to try out Trainfort, and I’m really excited about it! It’s a cooperative survival and crafting game set in an expansive, procedurally generated, post-apocalyptic landscape populated by dwarves.

In a lengthy preview, tinyBuild unveiled the game, and furthermore, they made it possible for players to apply for a playtest version of the game on Steam.

Although I’ve tested it solo so far, I can easily imagine that playing with a team of four in cooperative mode would make the experience significantly more enjoyable and entertaining.

VOIN

Dark Souls Goes DOOM

Lastly, but by no means least, we come to VOIN – yet another game that has made its way through Early Access and was developed single-handedly by the talented Nikita Sozidar.

Today on our feature presentation, Nikita personally unveiled a significant content upgrade titled “Permafrost” for the game VOIN. This exciting update introduces a fresh, icy terrain to traverse, along with new weapons, characters, adversaries, a quest system, and yes, an actual skill development structure.

With my experience at VOIN, it seems to blend elements of DOOM and Dark Souls in a remarkable way that feels distinctive yet authentically its own. The game’s design and mechanic explanations are some of the most innovative, even more so when considering that VOIN is being developed by a single individual.

2025 sees the arrival of the Permafrost update, yet it’s absolutely worth exploring VOIN’s early access version even before that.
