In this manual, we’ll cover the optimal upgrades for the Heavy Attack Mastery skill in Titan Quest 2.)

Even though it’s still in Early Access, Titan Quest 2 boasts a vast array of build options, which might be intimidating for newcomers to the ARPG genre, as they may initially feel overpowered by the numerous build possibilities. For instance, if you started with Warfare Mastery, you might be surprised to discover an extensive list of skills, each with its unique modifications.
Among the first skills you can choose for the Warfare class is the Heavy Attack, which stands out as not only an early option but also one of the most effective. Enhancements primarily serve to boost its damage output, but with numerous enhancements available, selecting the optimal one may seem challenging. This guide aims to assist you in making that decision.
Best Heavy Attack Modifications in Titan Quest 2
Second Hit
The Second Strike modifier introduces a second strike to your Heavy Attack. Instead of just one downward swing and ground smash in the original animation, the Heavy Attack now includes an additional upward lift after the initial smash. This results in the Heavy Attack inflicting double damage. With this two-hit sequence, you can quickly defeat most enemies more efficiently, enhancing the power of your Heavy Attack.

Staggering Force
The Enhancing Power, named Staggering Force, boosts your Heavy Attack’s damage by 15% and enhances the chances of stun. This makes your Heavy Attack significantly stronger, and if you successfully stun your opponent, they become vulnerable to additional attacks. Furthermore, you can amass up to three instances of Staggering Force, resulting in a maximum damage increase of 45%.
Wind Up
To beef up your construction more towards a tank role, consider combining Staggering Force with Wind Up. This union will boost your damage output by 15% but slow down your attack pace by 5%. As you can stack this effect up to three times, the total damage increase could amount to a substantial 45%, which is a considerable advantage considering the modest 15% speed reduction.
