Fans didn’t hesitate to voice their criticisms of Toei Animation, as they have high expectations for the studio’s work. They feel that altering such a significant moment in a way that seems inferior is like breaking a promise, betraying the fans’ trust.

The adaptation falls short of the original manga’s impact, leaving many fans disheartened.
