The second installment of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun hasn’t garnered as much focus as its creators hoped for, but that doesn’t diminish its worth. Premiering in January 2025, the series got overshadowed by Solo Leveling, Sakamoto Days, and The Apothecary Diaries. Regardless, it has been steadily moving forward, releasing seven episodes thus far.
To further build anticipation among fans for the rest of the season, Studio Lerche unveiled a fresh trailer for Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, centering on the principal characters. Although the trailer might not appear significant at first glance, it underscores the studio’s determination to boost the anime’s fanbase appeal. At this juncture, there’s no doubt about Studio Lerche’s devotion to the series, as they have left no stone unturned in creating a faithful adaptation that promises to satisfy fans.

I find myself in the company of Yōhei Fukui, as Yasuhiro Nakanishi pens the scripts for this captivating anime. Simultaneously, Hiroshi Takaki contributes his musical talent to the composition process. For the opening theme tune of the second season, we have L’oN, masterfully executed by Masayoshi Ōishi. The closing song is “With a Wish” by Akari Kitō.
