The *Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4* game brings back the exciting skateboarding experience many of us loved in the early 2000s. A key part of this is the wide variety of levels you can skate in.
We’ve carefully rebuilt many of the original maps, and also added some brand new ones to give this remake a fresh feel.
New to the game? Here are 10 maps you’ll want to explore right away. These locations offer fantastic spots to perform tricks and hidden secrets, whether you’re an experienced player or just starting out.
10. Airport – THPS 3
Grinding Through Baggage Claim
Like the Mall and Downhill Jam levels in the original *Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater*, Airport is a fast-paced downhill stage where the goal is to chain together as many tricks as you can while racing to the end. However, Airport is more enjoyable to explore than those other levels thanks to its spacious design and hidden areas.
This airport level is pretty simple – it mostly just has a teleporter that sends you back to the beginning. However, it’s unique as the only downhill stage in the game, which is why it made the list. The career objectives are also enjoyable and provide some good humor.
9. College – THPS 4
Getting An A In Aerials

The remake of THPS 4 really highlights just how expansive and well-designed the original game’s maps were, and that’s still true today. It’s a blast to explore every part of the huge college campus.
While the new career objectives aren’t quite as open-ended and enjoyable as the original game’s free-roam activities, there’s still a lot to love. Things like hitching a ride on the professor’s car and pranking Officer Dick (who used to be Tom) remain consistently fun.
8. Waterpark – THPS 3+4
A Wild Sparrow Appears

Okay, so this waterpark is one of the three maps the developers built from scratch for this game, and honestly, it’s not the biggest or most detailed. But it’s awesome for skating! There are tons of empty pools and huge waterslides just begging for you to pull off some sick tricks. It’s a really fun spot to grind and get creative.
The career mode for this map includes a special goal where you face off against Eric Sparrow, the classic villain from Tony Hawk’s Underground. Just like before, you get the chance to show him up with your skateboarding skills. It’s incredibly satisfying to still be able to humiliate Sparrow in 2025!
7. Alcatraz – THPS 3+4
Doing Time In The Big House

Alcatraz feels the biggest impact from the simplified level objectives in the *THPS 4* remake, losing many of the original game’s more creative and funny missions. However, the new goals do include a few references that longtime fans will enjoy.
The debate about the movie’s ending doesn’t take away from how enjoyable it is to explore Alcatraz and find its secret spots. Plus, starting the new version with a sunset is a beautiful addition.
6. London – THPS 4
Busting Moves Under Big Ben

Switching the London map to nighttime is arguably the most successful visual update in the remake. It’s easily the most attractive of the *Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4* maps, and finding all the great spots to perform tricks among the skyscrapers is really rewarding.
The highlight of this map is definitely Officer Dick, who Jack Black brilliantly brings back to life from the *THPS 1+2* remake. It’s really fun to cause trouble for him and his fellow police officers in career mode, particularly when he unexpectedly starts teleporting around!
5. Los Angeles – THPS 3
Sunshine On Sick Combos

Los Angeles is a well-designed skate park that feels typical for a more advanced area in Career Mode. While it doesn’t immediately stand out, completing a specific set of rail challenges triggers an earthquake, unlocking a whole new section of the park to explore.
Los Angeles isn’t the only map with this feature, but it’s the best demonstration of how interactive details can really enhance a map’s experience. And, the side quests connected to these details include some really funny scenes.
4. Cruise Ship – THPS 3
Skaters On Deck

The last stage of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3’s Career Mode offers a great experience for all players. It includes challenging trick locations, enjoyable goals to complete, beautiful graphics, and funny chatter from people in the game.
The Cruise Ship level is the first in Career Mode to reward players with a special cutscene upon completing a goal. This scene introduces Felipe Nunes, a groundbreaking skateboarder who is also an amputee. It’s disappointing that players can’t actually skate *as* Felipe, but hopefully that will be an option in a future version of the game.
3. Pinball – THPS 3+4
High Scores All Around

This new, original map, created just for the remake, lets you skate inside a giant pinball machine, with a massive Tony Hawk looming overhead. His huge face might seem strange at first, but you quickly get used to it.
This vibrant and unusual level is a fun way to finish the career mode in *Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4*. Just watch out for the huge pinballs while you’re trying to land tricks!
2. Suburbia – THPS 3
Home Is Where The Heelflip Is

Okay, so the Suburbia map is seriously awesome. It’s not the biggest map in the game, but honestly, it’s my favorite to just cruise around on. Every little spot feels unique and full of detail. You can goof off at the construction site, maybe even pull off a sick combo into someone’s pool, and the way everything connects is super smooth. The trick lines make getting around a blast – it’s just a really well-designed map for exploration.
This map’s haunted house is the main attraction! Can you assist the spooky, slender figure in regaining access to his home and discovering a frightening new skate park? Watch your step – a single mistake could send you plummeting into the depths!
1. Canada – THPS 3
Manuals And Maple Leaves

The Canada map offers something for everyone. You can challenge yourself with difficult tricks, discover hidden locations, and hone your skills at the included skate park.
Canada’s career mode in the game also features some of the most hilarious goals. These include tasks like burying a bully in the snow and saving someone whose tongue is stuck to a frozen pole. It really captures the quirky sense of humor that defined the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series, a trait that would become even more prominent in later installments.
