Top 10 Best Digital Temtem (And How To Catch Them!)

Summary

  • Temtem is an MMO indie game with unique elemental types and an emphasis on player interaction and battling.
  • Digital type Temtems like 0b10 and Molgu have specific, beneficial traits and good stats for battling.
  • Finding and evolving Temtems like Cycrox, Hoglip, and Tuwire can enhance a player’s team’s power and versatility.

For many years, independent game creators have depended on Kickstarter as a platform to launch their projects. Remarkable games such as “The Banner Saga” and “Undertale” are prime examples of successful Indie games which originated from Kickstarter campaigns. Similarly, “Temtem” is another Indie game that began with a Kickstarter fund but was released a few years later. Although it may appear to be just another “Pokemon” spin-off, “Temtem” offers unique characteristics that set it apart.

In essence, what sets Temtem apart from Pokemon is that it’s fundamentally a Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game. This means that as you traverse the islands of the Airborne Archipelago, you can engage with other players, battle them, or collaborate together. A fascinating aspect that distinguishes Temtem is the variety of elemental types available for players to utilize, such as Crystal, Nature, and uniquely, Digital. The Digital type is particularly intriguing because it’s effective against multiple types, including Mental, Melee, and Digital itself.

This information suggests that Digital is its own enemy in some sense, being weak against Electrics and Water types. However, it has a resistance to Toxicity.

9. Halzhi

Overall Stat: 312

  • Halzhi can be found in Rice Fields, Cipanku.

As a follower, I was among the initial Digital Temtem discovered on the Airborne Archipelago’s islands. My base stats, boasting a robust Attack of 56 and Health Points (HP) of 52, are valuable assets for battlers in combat. However, what truly sets me apart is my unique Temtem Traits – Parrier and Neutrality. The former trait reduces the harm I sustain during a fight, while the latter shields me from any unfavorable status effects.

As a die-hard movie buff, I’d rephrase it like this: “Before evolving Halzhi into Molgu, players should make the most of Halzhi’s unique traits. You can find this Digital creature on Cipanku island, specifically around the Rice Fields Route – a spot known for its abundance of Nature type Temtem too! There’s a 60% chance of encountering a regular Halzhi here, but the odds of stumbling upon the Luma (Shiny) version are significantly lower.

8. Chubee

Overall Stat: 328

  • Chubee can be found in Pillars of Highabove, Cipanku.

In essence, Chubee stands out as it boasts an exceptional base HP and Defense among unevolved Wind and Digital Temtem, making it an excellent choice for a defensive companion. Beyond its robust defense, Chubee can employ the technique “Shy Shield” to augment its own base defense or that of its allies. Furthermore, Chubee’s unique trait “Hover” reduces Earth-type techniques’ damage by half, while another trait adds any positive stat stage changes to an ally when it is defeated.

Players are advised to quickly transform Chubee into Waspeen (Level 15) because it acquires the Royal Jelly trait, which restores 5% of its maximum health at the start of each turn. You can catch Chubee along the Pillars of Highabove route in Cinpanku.

Or

Players should make an effort to evolve Chubee into Waspeen (Level 15) as soon as they can, for it gains the Royal Jelly trait, which regenerates 5% of its maximum health at the start of every turn. Catch Chubee at the Pillars of Highabove route in Cinpanku to begin this process.

Or

As soon as possible, players should work towards evolving Chubee into Waspeen (Level 15), since it gains the Royal Jelly trait that restores 5% of its maximum health at the start of every turn. You can find and catch Chubee on the Pillars of Highabove route in Cinpanku.

7. Hoglip

Overall Stat: 383

  • Hoglip can be found in Pillars of Highabove, Cipanku.

For those seeking to elevate their PVP Temtem squad, consider incorporating Hoglip due to its unmatched base Special Attack among unevolved Digital and Fire type Temtem. This means that techniques like Cyberclaw (80) and Fire Tornado (145) will inflict significantly more damage. However, it’s important to note that while Hoglip boasts impressive stats, its primary Trait may not be as advantageous as expected, as it only transforms its low, very low, and normal priority Techniques into high priority ones.

Luckily, when a player advances Hoglip into Hedgine (at level 13), they’ll acquire the Trait “Parting Gift,” which can be beneficial in specific fights as it transfers the Temtem’s positive stat stage modifications to an ally. Players might find Hoglip along the Pillars of Highabove route in Cipanku, with a 60% chance of encounter.

6. Cycrox

Overall Stat: 447

  • Cycrox can be found in the following locations:
    • Cipanku: The Highbelow?, Rice Fields, Sacred Lake

Cycrox is a unique Temtem with both Digital and Toxic attributes, showcasing exceptional skills in Special Attack and Defense. Due to its dual nature, Cycrox is particularly effective against Water, Nature, Mental, and Digital Temtem, making it an excellent choice for ventures into the Aguamarina Caves, which are inhabited by numerous Water-type Temtem. Additionally, Cycrox boasts two useful Traits that could prove beneficial in specific scenarios. The first one is Neurotoxins, a trait exclusive to Cycrox, which converts the Poison status effect into Doom (after a specified number of turns, a Temtem afflicted by Doom will faint).

The second characteristic of Cycrox (Water Synthesizer) grants it complete resistance to Water-based attacks. If a competing player or wild Temtem employs a Water attack against Cycrox, it actually heals based on the damage that would have been inflicted. Players can locate this Temtem at either the Rice Fields or Sacred Lake routes within Cipanku island.

5. 0b10

Overall Stat: 474

  • 0b10 cannot be found and tamed in the wilderness.
  • Players can find and tame a 0b1 in Pillars of Highabove, Cipanku, and then evolve it into 0b10 after 15 levels.

0b10, unlike many Digital Temptems that are typically vulnerable to Electric types, possesses dual-typing in both Electric and another unspecified type. This unique trait means it takes Electric damage as if the multiplier were 1, rather than the usual 2 or 4. Boasting a speed stat of 78 and a sturdy 76 in stamina, this Temptem also boasts a reasonable resistance to Special attacks.

0b10 is generally well-rounded with traits that enhance buffs. The Source Replicated ability allows it to mirror certain statuses like Alerted, Evading, Invigorated, Regenerated, or Immune when it has any of these conditions, and pass them onto an ally. Conversely, the Target Replicator ability functions in reverse, duplicating these same statuses from an ally and applying them to 0b10.

4. Archanyte

Overall Stat: 457

  • Archanyte can be found in Braeside Castle, Arbury.

As a movie critic might say, in the vast world of Temtem, Archanyte stands out as a formidable force. Equipped with an arsenal of special attacks, it excels at dishing out damage. But what truly sets Archanyte apart is its unique Neutral and Digital natures, offering a rare advantage – it takes only half the usual damage from similar foes. However, like a slow-moving tank on the battlefield, Archanyte’s one weakness lies in its sluggish speed, making it a challenge to keep up with quicker Temtem.

Archanyte possesses two unique abilities: Digi-Protection and Adaptive. The Digi-Protection feature has a double effect – it weakens the damage inflicted by an ally’s Digital Techniques by 30%, but simultaneously strengthens the holder’s resistance to incoming Digital Technique attacks by 75%. Consequently, it is advisable not to team this creature with another Digital type.

When first confronted with a technique, Archanyte’s adaptive trait identifies the nature of that technique and assigns it as Archanyte’s secondary type from then on.

3. Molgu

Overall Stat: 454

  • Molgu cannot be found and tamed in the wilderness.
  • Players can find and tame a Halzhi in Rice Fields, Cipanku, and then evolve it into Molgu after 16 levels.

As a descendant of Halzhi, this being serves as a testament to Halzhi’s significance within the Digital realm. Being a durable unit, Molgu boasts an HP of 82 and an attack rate of 84, making it quite formidable when players aim to inflict physical damage on their opponents.

As a dedicated moviegoer, I must admit that Molgu possesses a unique blend of characteristics rather than any standalone traits. Yet, what sets Molgu apart is its unwavering resilience against various adversities and detrimental statuses. The Splitter trait, in particular, bestows Molgu with an immunity to being Poisoned, Burned, Asleep, Chilled, Entangled, Frozen, Exhausted, Isolated, and Seized. Furthermore, this trait empowers the creature by granting it an Invigorated status for two turns each time it activates.

The characteristic called Sentinel ensures that neither the bearer nor their companion will be subjected to the Sleep status. Moreover, if Molgu joins the fight, it will instantly wake up any allies currently under the Sleep effect.

2. Tuwire

Overall Stat: 458

  • Tuwire cannot be found and tamed in the wilderness.
  • Players can find and tame a Tuwai, and then evolve it into Tuwire at the Digital Kami Shrine.
  • Tuwai can be found in the following locations:
    • Arbury: Chieftain’s Barrow
    • Tucma: Sons of Crystal
    • Deniz: Dabmis’ Rest
    • Kisiwa: Aisha’s Heart
    • Cipanku: Digital Kami Shrine
    • Omninesia: Altar of the Inner Flame

In essence, Tuwai functions similarly to Eevee in the Pokemon series, as it can transform into six distinct types of evolutions. One of these evolutions is called Tuwire, which belongs to the Wind and Digital category within the Temtem universe. Tuwire boasts a robust base Stamina of 70 and Attack of 79, making it a potent single-target Temtem. Additionally, Tuwire’s unique trait, Splitter, protects it from any detrimental status conditions caused by Physical or Special abilities.

As a dedicated cinema-goer, I must say that the second attribute, or the common factor, of this character truly steals the show! It bestows the Nullify status effect upon entering battle, rendering all rival Temtem’s resistances and weaknesses irrelevant for two turns – an absolute game-changer when it comes to neutral type Temtem. From the get-go, players can acquire a Tuwai, but to evolve it into a Tuwire, they must embark on a journey to the Digital Kami Shrine nestled in the heart of Cipanku island.

1. Loatle

Overall Stat: 467

  • Loatle cannot be found and tamed in the wilderness.
  • Players must find a Pupoise from Rice Fields in Cipanku and evolve it after 18 levels to obtain Loatle.

Loatle may not excel in inflicting Physical damage on opponents, but it boasts a strong Attack score of 75 and an impressive Health Points (HP) value of 86. This creature isn’t typically employed for or against Special attacks. Given that Mental and Digital types are vulnerable to Electric attacks, Loatle should never be pitted against other Digital or Electric creatures, as the damage it receives would quadruple in such matches.

In summary, Loatle has two unique abilities that persist even after it’s defeated:

1. The Seppuku trait causes all opponents to be afflicted with the Doomed status for four turns following Loatle’s overexertion.
2. The Voodoo trait transfers any negative status condition inflicted by Loatle onto an opponent’s partner, if applicable.
