10. Ring of Khajiiti
For Speed And Stealth

- Quest: Meridia
- Stats: 35% Chameleon and Fortify Speed 10 pts.
As a devotee of Meridia, I’d like to share an intriguing quest that might catch your interest if you’re level 10 or higher. At the sanctuary of Meridia’s Shrine in my hometown of Meridia, there’s a healer named Basil Ernarde who has a task for us adventurers. He requests that we pay our respects to the deity by offering remains from an undead creature at her shrine. Any ingredient sourced from an undead being would be suitable. Once you’ve made this offering, Meridia will guide you towards the Howling Cave where necromancers reside. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to eliminate these necromancers and bring balance back to our realm.
In this adventure, you’ll need to travel east from Castle Skingrad towards the Howling Cave. There, you’ll face a tough battle against some necromancers. If you manage to defeat the five necromancers and their summoned forces, you can make your way back to the Shrine. At the shrine, Meridia will reward you with the Ring of Khajiiti. This ring boosts your speed and provides an advantage for stealth-oriented characters, making it a valuable addition to any such builds.
9. Benirus Manor in Anvil
A Well-Earned Home In Anvil

- Quest: Where the Spirits Have Lease
- Stats: A Two-Floor House in Anvil.
As a gamer, I embark on an intriguing quest when I cross paths with Velwyn Benirus, an Imperial gentleman seeking takers for his deceased grandfather’s mansion – the grandiose Benirus Manor. Catching my interest with its affordable price of 5,000 Gold (making it one of the more budget-friendly abodes in all of Cyrodiil), I decide to purchase this historical residence and settle down within its walls. However, upon resting there, I soon realize that the place is plagued by ghostly presences.
In order to unravel this eerie mystery, I track down Velwyn once more and successfully convince him to lend a helping hand in banishing this curse. In return, he leads me to an enigmatic Sealed Portal hidden deep within the manor’s basement.
In this adventure, things get grim when players encounter Lorgren Benirus, the manor’s former proprietor who now languishes as a decaying corpse in a necromancer’s chamber. After defeating Lorgren Benirus decisively, the curse will be broken and players will gain control of the manor.
8. Night Mother’s Blessing
A Permanent Buff To Stealth

- Quest: Whodunit?
- Stats: Permanent +2 Bonus to Acrobatics, Blade, Marksman, Security, and Sneak.
The Everlasting Grace Bestowed by the Night Mother is a benefit bestowed upon players once they finish the Dark Brotherhood mission titled “Whodunit?” Upon receiving instructions from Ocheeva, adventurers should journey to Skingrad and make their way into Summitmist Manor. In this manor, they’ll be required to act as the murderer in a captivating whodunit scenario.
Performing all Dark Brotherhood missions is highly recommended due to their enticing narratives and lucrative rewards, with this particular quest being quite near the finale. Upon completing tasks for the Dark Brotherhood in this region, players can earn the Night Mother’s Blessing – a potent bonus that permanently boosts several skills such as Acrobatics, Blade, Marksman, Security, and Sneak.
7. Gray Cowl of Nocturnal
Become the Legendary Gray Fox

- Quest: The Ultimate Heist
- Stats: Become the Gray Fox. Detect Lift up to 120 ft. Fortify Sneak 25 pts. Feather 200 pts.
Obtaining the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal is no walk in the park; it demands the full completion of the Thieves Guild storyline. Once you’ve accomplished 11 key missions within this guild, the “The Ultimate Heist” quest becomes available. In this final mission, players are tasked with stealing a priceless artifact while uncovering the secrets surrounding the Gray Fox.
The Gray Hood of Night’s Cover is indispensable for any character focusing on thievery. When donned, this cloak makes NPCs unable to distinguish between the player and the Gray Phantom. Moreover, any negative reputation or bounties accumulated while wearing the hood vanish when it is removed, making it an ideal disguise for those aiming to escape the consequences of their criminal activities unscathed.
6. Summon Golden Saint / Dark Seducer
Summoning Elite Daedra Allies
- Quest: The Helpless Army
- Stats: Summon Golden Saint or Summon Dark Seducer.
To summon these potent entities, players initially need to step beyond the boundary of insanity via a peculiar entrance in Niben Bay, leading them into the Shivering Isles. By accomplishing 9 primary quests for the Shivering Isles, they will encounter the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath, and eventually assume the title of Duke/Duchess, ruling either Mania or Dementia.
In the “The Helpless Army” quest, depending on whether you’re the Duke/Duchess of Mania or Dementia, players can call upon either the Dark Seducers or the Golden Saints. These calls for aid are limited to once a day, but their immense power makes them worth it. They are resistant to silence, with the Golden Saint capable of deflecting spells that lose some of their strength and disintegrate weapons upon contact, while the Dark Seducer can absorb spells and regain health when touched.
5. Mehrunes’ Razor
The Extremely Sharp Dagger

- Quest: Unearthing Mehrunes’ Razor
- Stats: Disintegrate Armor 15 pts for 7 seconds. Daedric Banishing on Strike.
Mehrunes’ Razor excels for fans of randomness, as the Daedric Banishing enchantment on it occasionally eliminates a target depending on the player’s Luck statistic. “Unearthing Mehrunes’ Razor” is an individual mission that involves navigating a difficult dungeon, but the dagger and other discoveries along the way make it worthwhile.
In this adventure, you might stumble upon whispers of potential life sightings at Sundercliff Watch. Once you venture into the dilapidated fortress, expect encounters with Drothmeri Soldiers. Deeper within these ruins lies the concealed village of Sundercliff, tucked away in caverns. The Morag Tong Armor set can be discovered there, but completing this quest from start to finish rewards you with Mehrunes’ Razor, which is definitely worth your time and effort.
4. Spell Breaker
Best Shield Against All Magic

- Quest: Peryite
- Stats: Reflect Spell 30%.
Upon first encountering Peryite’s Shrine, players notice the worshippers are motionless, appearing as if asleep and ignoring any attempts at interaction. Those who have reached level 10 or above can converse with the Daedric Prince. He reveals that following a failed summoning attempt by one of his followers, their souls were banished to Oblivion and trapped there.
As a gamer venturing through the Realm of Peryite, I’ve got five precious souls to save. Once I manage to rescue the devotees and make my way back to the Shrine of Peryite, I’ll be handsomely rewarded with one of the best shields in the game – the legendary Daedric Artifact, the . This heavy armor piece boasts a perpetual 30% spell reflection enchantment, making it an essential addition to any adventurer’s arsenal.
3. Goldbrand
Setting Tamriel Ablaze

- Quest: Boethia
- Stats: 25 Base Damage. 22 pts Fire Damage per hit.
To participate in this mission, players must attain level 20 or higher. The journey begins when they venture southeast of Cheydinhal, nestled within the lofty Valus Mountains, and engage Haekwon at Boethia’s Sanctuary. Players should bring an offering suitable for Boethia, who accepts it but doesn’t acknowledge them as a worthy “Chosen.” Boethia then creates a portal nearby, instructing the player to participate in the Tournament of the Ten Bloods. In this tournament, players will battle against Boethia’s chosen adversaries successively within the realm of Oblivion.
Anticipating the emergence of this mission and the struggle to conquer it promises a reward commensurate with the investment; upon victorious tournament participation, Beothia bestows upon players the golden katana named . Given that this quest is geared towards more experienced characters, this sword usually surfaces mid-game but boasts the highest single-handed power in Oblivion Remastered.
2. Azura’s Star
The Reusable Soul Gem

- Quest: Azura
- Stats: Zero weight reusable Grand Soul Gem.
When players advance to level 2 or higher, they’ll discover the Sanctum of Azura where a devotee of the night elves can be found. This devotee recommends that players leave an offering at dawn or twilight for Azura’s sanctuary. Upon making an offering, Azura assigns players with the mission to slay once-devoted followers of Azura who have been transformed into vampires and are now trapped within the Abandoned Mine.
This mission might be brief yet delightful, and it comes with an extraordinarily potent Daedric Artifact: Azura’s Star. In essence, this artifact functions like a perpetual grand soul gem, allowing for endless capturing of souls because it remains within your inventory instead of being expended after use.
1. Shadowmere
The Trusty Immortal Steed

- Quest: The Purification
- Stats: Essential Mount
To obtain Shadowmere, players need to become part of the Dark Brotherhood and progress nearly to the end of their journey. This mysterious horse is earned by players upon finishing “The Purification” mission, a task that significantly alters one’s understanding of being a member within the Dark Brotherhood.
After successfully accomplishing their mission called “Purification,” Lucien rewards the players with the horse named Shadowmere. This steed is among the swiftest mounts in the game, and importantly, she can’t be killed since she is considered an essential horse. Beyond aiding the players in completing the Dark Brotherhood questline, Shadowmere provides a reliable and speedy means of navigating Cyrodiil safely without relying on additional magic.
