The upcoming film for “Demon Slayer” is titled “The Infinity Castle arc.” This storyline delves into the happenings within Nakime’s Blood Demon Art construct. Inside the Infinite Castle, numerous exhilarating battles will unfold, many of which are extraordinarily intense.

Among the numerous encounters, certain ones truly capture my attention more than others. Here’s a sneak peek at the exciting bouts that combat enthusiasts should brace themselves for during the Infinity Castle saga, set to be brought to life soon.

6. Obanai and Mitsuri vs Nakime

Among the fights in the Infinity Castle arc, the least impressive might be the one between Mitsuri and Obanai against the newly introduced Upper Rank 4 Demon, Nakime. This demon showed significant strength, dominating the Infinity Castle and repeatedly teleporting the two Hashira out of her reach.

In my excitement, I must confess that these two heroes couldn’t vanquish the formidable demon we were up against. The task then fell upon Yushiro, a remarkable individual who stepped in and temporarily possessed my body. Regrettably, our adversary, Muzan, ultimately decided to end her life.

5. Zenitsu vs Kaigaku

In the anime “Demon Slayer”, Kaigaku and Zenitsu are two characters with an extensive backstory. They were both pupils of the previous Thunder Hashira, Jigoro Kuwajima, and learned under his tutelage, albeit in different ways when it comes to mastering Thunder Breathing.

Instead, Kaigaku switches allegiance, betraying his previous master and the Demon Slayers. He then teams up with demons, reaching the position of Upper Rank 6 within the Infinity Castle, taking over from Gyutaro and Daki who were defeated in the Entertainment District storyline.

In a whirlwind of excitement, I found myself bearing witness to a swift skirmish between Zenitsu and Kaigaku. To my astonishment, Zenitsu, with his remarkable skill, effortlessly outmatched Kaigaku and severed his head using his self-crafted technique, the Seventh Form: Honoikazuchi no Kami. This encounter elevated Zenitsu to an elite group of characters who dared to challenge an Upper Rank on their own. Despite Kaigaku’s technical weakness compared to other Upper Ranks, he put up quite a fight!

4. Tanjiro and Giyu vs Akaza

Readers have been eagerly anticipating the confrontation between Tanjiro and Upper Rank 3 Demon, Akaza, ever since he was responsible for the death of Flame Hashira, Rengoku, some arcs back. With Akaza having Rengoku’s blood on his hands, Tanjiro is fully committed to joining forces with Giyu to eliminate this demon.

In the captivating world of Demon Slayer, this particular battle stands out as one of the most extraordinary. Akaza is not your ordinary adversary; even after Tanjiro decapitates him, he astonishingly regenerates his own head – a power only Kokushibo and Muzan have demonstrated in the Demon Slayer manga. Unlike other battles where the demons are defeated by the Demon Slayers, Akaza’s end is self-inflicted. Upon being beheaded, he experiences vivid recollections of his human life, particularly his cherished spouse. Moved by these memories, he chooses to take his own life so he can peacefully transition and reunite with his beloved wife.

3. Muichiro Tokito, Genya Shinazugawa, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Gyomei Himejima vs Kokushibo

In the realm of Demon Slayer, the battle against the Upper Rank 1 Demon was arguably one of the toughest encounters ever witnessed. Kokushibo stands as a significant menace second only to Muzan himself. This formidable demon possesses an extraordinary ability known as Moon Breathing, a lethal technique that’s challenging to evade.

The Upper Rank 1 Demon’s fight was one of the most grueling in the Demon Slayer world. Kokushibo is a major threat after Muzan, with his Moon Breathing ability making him a significant challenge. This deadly Breathing Style is hard to dodge.

The battle initially involved Muichiro, but he was swiftly knocked out. Subsequently, a series of characters joined in, with Genya, Sanemi, and ultimately Gyomei stepping up. It’s clear that this fight required teamwork, and each participant had to perform at their peak to emerge victorious. Both Muichiro and Genya bravely made sacrifices, losing their lives to bring an end to Kokushibo. With only Sanemi and Gyomei remaining, they had no time to rest as they immediately shifted their focus to the next battle – the ultimate showdown against Muzan.

2. Shinobu vs Doma

One of the early battles in this storyline will be between Shinobu and Doma. Shinobu harbors a deep-seated anger towards Upper Rank 2 Demon, Doma, due to his involvement in the death of her elder sister, Kanae Kocho. Despite knowing that she stands little chance against an Upper Rank Demon alone, Shinobu maintains her composure and fights with all her might. She employs tactics like Dance of the Centipede: Hundred-Legged Zigzag during the battle.

Here’s another way to put it: The coming skirmish in this storyline is between Shinobu and Doma. Shinobu bears a longstanding grudge against Upper Rank 2 Demon, Doma, because of his role in the death of her sister Kanae Kocho. Even though she recognizes that an Upper Rank Demon is beyond her reach on her own, Shinobu remains resolute and fights as powerfully as possible. She deploys strategies such as Dance of the Centipede: Hundred-Legged Zigzag in the heat of battle.

Ultimately, her power wasn’t sufficient to decapitate Doma, instead, she met a tragic fate – being slain and consumed by him. Yet, her selfless act would pave the way for the downfall of this demon.

1. Kanao and Inosuke vs Doma

Among the impressive battles in this arc, none is more memorable than the one between Kanao and Inosuke against Upper Rank 2 Demon, Doma. This battle commences straight after the defeat of Insect Hashira Shinobu, with Doma consuming her remains. Initially, Kanao fights alone until Inosuke leaps into the fray to assist her.

The significance of this battle is immense for both Kanao and Inosuke. For Kanao, winning this fight serves as a means to avenge her two sisters, Kanae and Shinobu. On the other hand, this battle brings Inosuke closer to uncovering the truth that his mother perished at the hands of Doma when he was still an infant. Eventually, it’s both of them who behead Doma, a feat made possible by Shinobu’s selfless sacrifice which weakened and eventually poisoned Doma.
