It seems that Aaa misunderstood “stop her” as an instruction to attack Kat, and the audience is left to infer that Kat suffered a fatal wound from being stabbed.

5. Sid

Near the movie’s conclusion, two technical specialists from Companion, named Sid and Teddy, arrive to listen to Josh’s findings. They also intended to retrieve Iris for a reboot at the lab, to understand the true sequence of events. Unbeknownst to Josh, the hard drive was located within Iris’ torso and could still be retrieved.

Under pressure due to his questionable choices, Josh dispatches Patrick to handle the technical team outside. Just as the technicians are preparing to depart, they come across Patrick, dressed oddly as Officer Hendrix, standing ominously in the driveway and fatally shooting Sid with a firearm. This ordinary death scene in a horror movie is followed by an exhilarating chase sequence. In comparison, Eli receives a less severe gunshot wound to the torso.

As I watched the trailers for “Companion,” it seemed like they had revealed everything about Iris being a robot. However, I soon realized that this was just the beginning, as there are many more twists and turns yet to come for viewers. One of these surprises unfolds not long after Sergey’s death when Eli discloses that his boyfriend, Patrick, is also a robot.

Contrary to Iris, it’s later discovered that Patrick confides in Eli that he’s actually a robot. There appears to be a deep emotional bond between them, and despite Josh erasing his data, Iris assists Patrick in recalling his feelings for Eli. Overwhelmed by Eli’s departure, Patrick chooses to take his own life using an electric shock to his mouth. Although no blood is shed, the concept is still enough to make one feel queasy.

However, in the film “Companion“, the wine opener is cleverly used to hint at a character’s impending doom – none other than Josh. Among all the antagonistic characters in the movie, his demise is particularly gruesome and fitting.

Faced with the challenge of truthfulness, she employs an ingenious tactic: translating her responses into German using an application on Josh’s phone.

In another version, the individual admits to several killings, but Officer Hendrix is perplexed about the situation. Meanwhile, spectators notice Patrick gradually approaching and Iris appears terrified. She realizes she’s found herself in a scenario reminiscent of a Terminator film. Upon Patrick’s arrival, he brutally beats Officer Hendrix, leaving his face a gruesome mess.
