It’s fantastic to catch up with characters from the Fatal Fury series after they’ve been absent from main games for over 20 years! There are certainly some unexpected twists and turns worth watching out for. Once you manage to line them all up, these are the most impressive arcade endings that players can unlock in Fatal Fury: City of Wolves.
8. Kevin
Crashes In To Save The Day From A Familiar Foe

In a shocking turn of events, the ruthless serial killer called Freeman unexpectedly appears in Kevin’s conclusion, attempting to harm Terry’s wife, Mary. Despite Marky aiming a gun at Freeman, Kevin intervenes at the last moment, comforting his apprentice that no one, especially someone as young as him, should ever be compelled to take another life.
This closing scene carries a strong emotional impact, underscoring just how deeply Kevin feels about safeguarding Marky – not just physically, but also guiding him through life’s journey. The brief appearances of Terry and Mary serve as an excellent finale touch to what is already an outstanding scene.
7. Hokutomaru
Reunites With Andy, The Man Who Taught Him Everything He Knows

In the game “Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves”, Hokutomaru had once been taught by Andy and Mai. After spending many years establishing himself as a crime-fighter, he eventually managed to meet up with his mentors in his ending sequence. Despite often coming across as bold and self-assured, Hokutomaru transforms when in the presence of Andy, revealing a more tender side that is not commonly seen.
Watching Andy and Mai inspires Hokutomaru to grow even stronger, signifying a significant milestone in his character growth. Moreover, the witty banter exchanged between Hokutomaru and Terry during this ending adds humor, keeping the scene from feeling overly serious.
6. B. Jenet
Jenet And Her Lillien Knights Are On The Hunt For Even More Treasure

Jenet’s tale takes a somber turn. Kain discloses that his sister was tied to the wicked Geese Howard, explaining why Jenet apprehended him while he was attempting to pilfer some treasure to ransom her freedom after she was abducted. However, upon learning of this tragic backstory, Jenet swiftly changes her stance. She declares that she possesses the very treasure Kain requires, but will also require Kain and his team to compensate them for healing Grant, her friend, from his wounds.
It’s been a while since we last saw Jenet and her formidable pirate gang in the show, but introducing them with a comical twist is an effective way to familiarize newcomers with the Lillien Knights. Moreover, observing Jenet’s dual nature – her serious side and her cocky persona – adds an entertaining touch to the finale, and is a delight for long-term admirers of the character.
5. Mai Shiranui
Saves Rock’s Life While Running Into An Unlikely Ally

Thanks to some assistance from an enigmatic old man, Mai successfully frees Rock from his control by destroying harmful Jin scrolls with fire. Once the tumultuous event has come to an end, this mysterious figure admits he employed a technique belonging to the Mochizuki clan – a method originally intended for eliminating Mai’s own Shiranui clan. Impressed by her resolve and combat abilities, he chose to aid her in this instance. Upon seeing Mai and Andy share an emotional moment, he concludes that perhaps it’s beneficial that the Shiranui clan can persist after all.
It’s delightful to observe Mai enjoying some special moments with her dear friend Andy. What truly enhances this climactic scene is the subtle hints about the long-standing rivalry between Shiranui and Mochizuki, a compelling aspect of the series that has always captivated us.
4. Terry Bogard
A Heartfelt Goodbye Between Terry And His Old Pal Rock

At the outset of Terry’s journey in the series, its iconic character is seen leisurely traveling by train, preparing for a new adventure. However, it soon becomes evident that Terry misses Rock, and this absence troubles him. Fortunately, they reunite in a memorable scene as Rock arrives with his stylish red motorcycle.
In numerous aspects, this moment appears to symbolize an official and heartfelt handover, complete with a dramatic gesture as Terry throws his famous hat to Rock, effectively passing the torch. Although it might not be a lengthy sequence, it’s a fitting farewell for Terry. Leaving his destination unknown further fuels speculation about Terry’s future role, enabling him to appear unannounced in various locations to engage in epic battles against powerful opponents.
3. Salvatore Ganacci
Ganacci Teams Up With Duck For A Mind-Blowing Music Video

Many fans of the Fatal Fury series were puzzled when real-life DJ Salvatore Ganacci was selected as the game’s comedic character instead of series icon Duck, but luckily, the eccentric fighter found his way into Salvatore’s side-splitting ending. Following a tough battle against Terry, Salvatore draws inspiration to compose a fresh tune, which he hastily jots down on the floor using a pencil.
After taking up Duck’s invitation to feature in his music video, Salvatore gazes upward, eager to demonstrate that he’s not only a skilled fighter but also a talented musician. It’s quite amusing watching familiar Fatal Fury characters mix with the eccentric DJ, Ganacci, but the ending gets extra credit for featuring Duck, who teams up unexpectedly with Ganacci in the climactic scenes.
2. Vox Reaper
After Grant’s Death, Vox Inherits The Mask And Vows To Continue His Legacy

In the TV series “City of the Wolves“, several concluding scenes feature key characters protecting Rock from the influence of the Jin Scrolls. However, Vox Reaper’s finale presents some intriguing twists that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The plot unfolds with the surprising disclosure that the masked figure is actually Grant, Vox Reaper’s teacher, who sacrifices his life in an attempt to save Marie and Rock.
This prompts Vox to claim the legendary mask, culminating in a dramatic climax where he harnesses its power just before defeating a couple of thugs. The addition of Grant, coupled with breathtaking visuals and surprising twists, makes Vox Reaper’s conclusion one of the most impressive endings in the game.
1. Kain
It’s Hard Not To Shed A Few Tears

In Kain’s tale, the climactic sequence unfolds extensively, yet it never loses its thrill due to the multitude of events occurring simultaneously. The story commences with Kain joining forces with Grant, orchestrating a series of explosive assaults and using their unique skills to disgrace a gang of lawbreakers in a frenzied skirmish. Visually stimulating as it is, this chaotic conflict is merely the prelude; what truly elevates the ending to unprecedented heights is the conversation they share post-fight.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but reflect on the shared dream my lifelong companions and I once held: the creation of a “New World.” This ambitious vision is now materializing right before our eyes! The captivating artwork, combined with the passionate voice acting and masterful pacing, has culminated in an ending that perfectly balances its emotional depth and high-octane action sequences.
