With so many anime series coming out over the past decade, it’s tough to choose the best ones. The only fair way to do it is to really analyze what makes each show great – and where it falls short. So, here are some truly outstanding anime released in the last 10 years.

Okay, so maybe the story isn’t quite as deep as some other anime, but honestly, Solo Leveling has totally shaken things up in the anime world! I mean, the action is incredible – it’s packed with some of the most amazing fight scenes I’ve seen in years. It’s seriously a game-changer.
Solo Leveling tells the story of Sung Jinwoo, whose life takes a dramatic turn after a devastating event. Once an ordinary and weak person, he gains incredible potential as a fighter. To grow stronger, Jinwoo must battle formidable enemies that push his skills to their limits.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 is the first of three movies. The studio, ufotable, spent years carefully crafting it to be perfect. At over two hours long, the movie delivers consistently impressive animation thanks to the dedicated work of the entire staff, who truly went above and beyond. Every scene felt impactful and well-executed.
The film’s only weakness is that it doesn’t fully adapt the Infinity Castle story arc. However, it does give a satisfying conclusion to Akaza’s story, who is one of the most compelling characters in the series. Overall, the movie is a stunning achievement and deserves to be considered a classic. Now, ufotable faces the challenge of making the next film just as good, which will require a lot of effort.
Takopi’s Original Sin

Before it premiered, very few people were aware of Takopi’s Original Sin, and even fewer expected it to be so good. Once the anime began airing, viewers were amazed by its story. The show started off cheerful, but quickly became much darker. Throughout the series, the plot constantly surprised and emotionally impacted fans.

The characters are incredibly well-developed, each with their own flaws and showing the lasting effects of trauma. What’s most impressive is how the anime delivers a complete and understandable story in just a handful of episodes.
A Silent Voice

A Silent Voice is widely considered one of the greatest anime films ever made. Created by the renowned studio Kyoto Animation, the movie boasts exceptional quality. What truly sets it apart is its thoughtful and mature handling of complex themes. A Silent Voice tells the story of Shoyo Ishida, a young man haunted by his past. As a child, he severely bullied a deaf girl, and even after being told he was wrong, he didn’t grasp the extent of his actions. By the time he understood the harm he’d caused, it was too late. Vinland Saga

Vinland Saga’s two seasons offer very different experiences. The first season focuses on Thorfinn’s all-consuming quest for revenge against Askeladd, a pursuit that dominates years of his life. However, when Askeladd is killed, Thorfinn is left lost and directionless, realizing his entire life had been defined by vengeance and he doesn’t know how to live without it.
By the second season, Thorfinn is a changed person. Haunted by the violence he’s committed, he’d lost his will to live. But a connection with Einar gives him a new sense of purpose, and he begins to rebuild his life by helping others who are struggling.
