Summary
- Zoro is strong but not the best Haki user in One Piece.
- Yamato has impressive Conqueror’s Haki control.
- Blackbeard and Shanks are superior Haki users compared to Zoro.
In the realm of One Piece, Zoro stands out as one of the most formidable sword-wielders. His mastery of Haki is undeniably impressive, a skill he honed during the time skip under the tutelage of Dracule Mihawk, the World’s Greatest Swordsman. Over the years, it’s evident to fans that Zoro has significantly advanced in his abilities.
Beyond just being proficient in Observation and Armament Haki, Zoro, through Enma, has also mastered Conqueror’s Haki. In Wano, Zoro improved his Haki abilities significantly, yet it’s evident in the Egghead storyline that while Zoro’s Haki is impressive, he still has room for growth and further advancement within One Piece.
9. Yamato
The Child of Yonko Kaido
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation, Conqueror
Surprisingly, or rather unsurprisingly if you’re a fan, I, Yamato, possess a remarkable mastery over Haki. Given that I’m the offspring of Kaido, one of the most formidable fighters in the One Piece universe, it’s not unexpected. While Zoro struggled against Kaido, I managed to hold my ground and keep him at bay for quite some time in battle.
Unlike Zoro, Yamato demonstrates proficiency in the use of Conqueror’s Haki, capable of maintaining this power for extended stretches. In contrast, Zoro exhibits limited duration with Conqueror’s Haki, at best only a few minutes, and his own life may be put in danger by the sword he carries, Enma.
8. Rayleigh
The Dark King
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation, Conqueror
Regardless of his age, Rayleigh was considered by Garp to be at the same skill level as the Yonko, or Emperors. Interestingly, Blackbeard opted not to confront him in battle on Amazon Lily. Rayleigh demonstrates a remarkable mastery over both high-level Armament and Conqueror’s Haki abilities.
Even though Zoro isn’t quite at the peak of strength like an aging Emperor, he stands his ground remarkably well in the storyline. However, unlike other characters who have developed their Haki to its full potential, Zoro hasn’t quite reached that stage yet in terms of his power.
7. Sengoku
The Former Fleet Admiral
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation, Conqueror
Among the Marines, Sengoku is one of the very few who possesses the strength to wield Conqueror’s Haki. It’s evident that Sengoku could potentially match up against the legendary Pirate King, Roger. Furthermore, given their apparent rivalry, Sengoku might also be capable of standing his ground against Whitebeard, a title-holder for the strongest man in the world.
It’s evident that Sengoku’s possession of a potent Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit significantly enhances his physical abilities and grants him unique powers. Notably, Sengoku’s Haki skills are extraordinarily advanced, allowing him to hold his own against formidable foes in battle. Interestingly, despite his age, Sengoku appears to be in excellent health without any apparent ailments. Despite being past his peak, it can be reasonably assumed that Sengoku’s Haki abilities should still outshine Zoro’s.
6. Garp
The Marine Hero Who Rivaled Roger
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation, Conqueror
I bear witness to the awe-inspiring figure that goes by the name of Garp, revered as a legend across the One Piece realm. To some, he seems more like a myth than a man, earning the title ‘Marine of Legends’ from countless pirates. Age may have weathered his visage, yet his Haki remains potent enough to obliterate entire towns with a solitary punch, as demonstrated on Egghead.
As a fervent admirer, I must say, Garp’s Conqueror’s Haki might not be at its peak, but it towers significantly over Zoro’s. The Straw Hat swordsman has quite a journey ahead if he aspires to match that prowess, requiring more rigorous training of his powers.
5. Mihawk
The Strongest Swordsman in the World
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation
As an observer, I find myself in awe of the world’s top swordsman, Mihawk, who, despite his advanced age, stands at the pinnacle of his powers. His reputation as one of the mightiest Haki users in One Piece is well-earned, although it’s not officially confirmed that he wields Conqueror’s Haki. However, given his stature among pirates, particularly someone aspired to be defeated by Zoro, it’s widely believed that individuals of such tier possess all forms of Haki at an exceptionally high level, comparable even to the fearsome Yonko.
It’s indisputable that any Yonko-level Haki user surpasses Zoro in terms of this skill, and it’s almost needless to mention it. He might not be the most powerful Haki user in One Piece, but he undeniably outclasses Zoro.
4. Blackbeard
A Yonko of the Sea With Impressive Haki
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation
Similar to Mihawk, there’s no official confirmation that Blackbeard possesses Conqueror’s Haki. Yet, it would be imprudent to rule out the possibility. Blackbeard stands among the most formidable conquerors of this epoch and poses a significant danger within the world of One Piece.
Although he possesses two formidable Devil Fruit abilities, specifically the Yami Yami no Mi and the Gura Gura no Mi, these aren’t Blackbeard’s only means of combat. Given his status as an Emperor, it’s reasonable to infer that he also has advanced mastery over Conqueror’s Haki. It’s likely that we’ll see this power demonstrated soon, and it’s safe to say that many fans would agree his Haki surpasses Zoro’s in capability.
3. The Five Elders
Immortal Individuals With Powerful Haki
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation, Conqueror
Among the characters in “One Piece,” The Five Elders are known for being exceptionally powerful users of Haki. They have mastery over all three types of this ability, and they can even wield its more advanced forms. Their use of Haki is so profound that it resonated across Egghead Island, leaving even swordsmen like Zoro and Jinbe amazed.
It’s not surprising at all, given their exceptional command over Haki, that they exceed Zoro in terms of skill mastery.
2. Luffy
Zoro’s Captain
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation, Conqueror
Luffy, the leader of the Straw Hat Pirates, is proficient in using Haki. Notably, without relying on the power of Gear 5, Luffy demonstrates incredible combat skills that enable him to hold his own against the powerful rulers known as Emperors.
In simpler terms, since Luffy defeated Kaido, his mastery over Conqueror’s Haki has significantly improved, placing him among the top haki users in the present time.
1. Shanks
The Strongest Known Haki User Right Now
- Haki Types: Armement, Observation, Conqueror
Without a doubt, I’d have to say that the most formidable Haki wielder in “One Piece” at the moment is none other than the Yonko, Shanks. The sheer magnitude of his Haki use is truly astounding and seems to be on a whole different level. Ever since he was approximately 13 years old, he’s demonstrated an impressive command over this power. It’s no wonder that he has attained such mastery over it.
In the world of One Piece, the incredible displays of Haki by this character are nothing short of astonishing, firmly establishing him as the most powerful user of this ability in the Final Saga. While Zoro demonstrates a commendable grasp of Haki, to Shanks, he holds no more significance than Eustass Kid.
