When Verdi, a puppeteer from Shibisu’s team, is identified by him, Khun turns ghostly white, urging Wangnan to avoid any confrontation at all costs, hinting at Verdi’s immense power. Caught in the situation, Wangnan can only look on as the colossal octopus begins to emit a glow, unaware of how critical this girl’s actions are for the ongoing battle elsewhere. In the episode’s continuation, both Khun and Wangnan make their way towards the Archimedes, with Verdi sending Prince and Miseng up there regardless.

The narrative resumes at the hotel where Team FUG is lodging, following the cliffhanger from the last episode, as Viole intervenes in a conflict between Anaak Jahad and Khun Ran. Both are dispatched by Viole towards Archimedes. Aiding Verdi’s controlled doll, Shibisu utilizes a ring that suppresses the wearer’s Shinsu emission, putting Viole in a predicament as he struggles to summon his usual strength. This ring is produced by Verdi’s enormous octopus, which drains the Shinsu that Viole tries to manipulate. Meanwhile, Yuto from Team FUG suffers a grave injury at the hands of Vespa, an individual possessing abilities like bees and other Apoidea. The wound is treated with a lethal poison; if the antidote-laden honey isn’t given within five minutes, she will perish. To prevent any fatalities, Viole displays his hidden power in full force – a strength he has only occasionally shown before, as Ilmar Beniamino questioned him about it prior to his departure to find Cassano.

Novick asks him why he saved Anaak as well, but Viole doesn’t answer, instead asking Novick to send Riplejo to the Archimedes under the guise of it being an order from Viole.
The Workshop Battle Begins For Real
Endorsi Learns a Shocking Truth
With no more attendees, the long-awaited Workshop Battle is now officially scheduled onboard the Archimedes. Unfortunately for Team Shibisu, it appears they will have to face off without Endorsi, as she was tasked with dealing with a swarm of sentry robots left behind by Traveller and Viole.
Following the capture of the final individual, Endorsi fortuitously encounters Traveller, whom she grills about Jue Viole Grace’s location. However, Traveller is puzzled since the man he was with isn’t Viole but The Twenty-Fifth Bam. It takes Endorsi a brief moment to comprehend his words. In essence, episode 16 of Tower of God season 2 was fairly engaging, skillfully knitting together key narrative threads and offering an intriguing glimpse into the concealed power that Bam/Viole possesses.
