In the game Hollow Knight: Silksong, Trail’s End is a quest that resembles the My Missing Brother mission. Here, Shakra is on a journey to locate her master, and she enlists the player’s aid by directing them towards the sewers near the Citadel, often referred to as Bilewater. Upon successfully completing the Trail’s End quest, Hornet will be rewarded with Shakra’s gratitude and a potent new tool.

How To Trigger Trail’s End Quest In Silksong

To initiate the Trail’s End quest in Silksong, look for it on the Wish Board within Bellhart. Ensure that the curse on Bellhart has been lifted to enable the display of available quests. You can pick up this quest during Act 2. If after some time the Trail’s End quest fails to appear, you may want to consider these potential solutions:

  • Locate Shakra and purchase all the map pieces if you haven’t already.
  • Complete the first and second batches of wishes that are already on the board.
  • Try acquiring some of the Melodies like the Architect’s and Vaultkeeper’s after defeating the Cogwork Dancers boss.

Trail’s End Quest In Silksong (Shakra’s Location)

Shakra, who is your master, awaits you at a waterfall called Silksong, northeast of Bilewater. This location can only be accessed during the Trail’s End quest and follows a specific path. Players who have already climbed Bilewater to reach Putrified Ducts will recognize this route as it leads to Shakra as well.

If you haven’t yet made your way to the lower region of Putrified Ducts via Bilewater, head instead to the area’s Bellway and advance until you reach a point to turn right. One of Shakra’s rings can be found there, which Hornet can utilize to trace the path of the warrior.

Traverse diagonally through the marshy area into a prolonged horizontal space that resembles a tall chamber. Utilize the double leap to ascend and leverage the vertical structures to protect Hornet from adversary assaults. Then, continue scaling upward towards the chamber located to your right.

Continue moving forward until you reach another room vertical to your current one. Leverage the green bulbs and adversaries by utilizing the clawline skill to ascend to the upper left platform. Use this method again to climb higher towards the path that opens up via the Trail’s End quest, then hang on to the wall.

Follow the path ahead, continue walking until you come across a waterfall, there you’ll find Shakra accompanied by her mentor. Once there, the quest will be completed, earning Hornet the Throwing Ring tool.
