Troy Baker ‘Will Return’ For Naughty Dog’s Next Project

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation when it comes to the news about Troy Baker and Naughty Dog. Since 2013’s The Last of Us, Troy has been an integral part of the gaming world, bringing life to some of our favorite characters with his exceptional voice acting skills.

It’s been announced that Troy Baker, a highly demanded actor in the industry, will continue collaborating with Neil Druckmann on their next project at Naughty Dog. Baker has been associated with Naughty Dog since 2013’s The Last of Us, and they are not ready to let such a talented voice actor go just yet.

During a chat with GQ, Troy Baker shared updates about his latest endeavors. In a particular part of the interview, he expressed his intention to collaborate with Naughty Dog again for Druckmann’s upcoming project, regardless of its nature.

‘Always’

In the interview with GQ, it was reported that Neil Druckmann, the creator of The Last of Us, said:

In a heartbeat I would always work with Troy

According to a report, it’s suggested that Baker might rejoin Naughty Dog and participate in Druckmann’s upcoming project, though the details are currently confidential.

This year has seen unusually less activity from Troy Baker compared to previous years. However, he’s set to star as the lead character in the forthcoming Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, slated for release on December 6. Additionally, he made an appearance in Arkham Shadow, portraying the Joker.

This year, I had a chat with Troy Baker, where we discussed a venture outside the realm of video games. He lent his voice to James Cox for an audiobook version, narrating ‘Grand Theft AI’, an expansive cyberpunk novel.

It’s unclear what the appearance of Neil Druckmann’s next game will be, however, it has been confirmed that character Baker will reappear in Ken Levine’s game, Judas, which is set to release in 2025 and is a spiritual successor to BioShock, marking Levine’s return to the first-person genre.
