As a dedicated gamer and long-time follower of MissMikkaa’s Twitch streams, I have been consistently impressed by her unyielding determination and remarkable skills in the world of Elden Ring. Having witnessed her recent achievement of beating the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on both PC and PS5 simultaneously, I can attest to the immense challenge this posed.

MissMikkaa, a popular Twitch streamer, defied expectations as she mastered “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree” by simultaneously streaming and playing the game on both PC and PS5. Known for her innovative streaming techniques, she amplified the game’s difficulty level in an extraordinary way.

As a long-time fan of FromSoftware games, I’ve grown accustomed to the challenge they present. But with the release of Elden Ring’s latest DLC, “Shadow of the Erdtree,” even my battle-hardened gamer spirit was put to the test.

During a recent live stream on Twitch, MissMikkaa – the number one Soulslike streamer at The Streamer Awards 2023 – successfully conquered the final boss of Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion while playing the game simultaneously on both PlayStation and PC. This impressive feat required her a total of 239 attempts, distributed across three separate streams. That is more than double the number of tries she needed to defeat Messmer, and significantly higher than the overall 609 attempts it took her to beat the entire DLC.

Making the game even more difficult is one of the core tenets of the Elden Ring community. Some players restrict themselves to only using certain weapons or builds that don’t take advantage of broken weapons, while others go as far as defeating powerful Elden Ring bosses using rocks as weapons. MissMikkaa went a step even further. Aside from the feat of playing the game on two platforms at the same time, she took it up a notch and is using a dance pad to play the game on PC.

As a fan, I’m blown away by MissMikkaa’s ability to master two challenging feats in this game. To give some context, even a renowned streamer like xQc struggled to defeat Rellana using a standard controller, succumbing 25 times in the process. In comparison, MissMikkaa accomplished this feat not once, but twice, using a dance pad instead. On top of that impressive accomplishment, she manages to play two separate instances of the game simultaneously. Many players in the community are left speechless by her skills, finding it difficult just to keep up with everything happening on the screen while watching her play, let alone attempting to replicate her achievement.
