Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory DLC

Ubisoft has announced new downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, called “Valley of Memory,” which will be fully unveiled tomorrow. This comes after a successful year for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, with Assassin’s Creed Shadows launching earlier in 2025 and taking players to Feudal Japan as a ninja and a samurai. Now, Ubisoft is turning its attention back to Assassin’s Creed Mirage with this new announcement.

Released in late 2023, *Assassin’s Creed Mirage* is the thirteenth main installment in the popular series, taking place in ninth-century Baghdad. The game tells the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, a young thief who joins the Hidden Ones and trains to become an assassin. *Mirage* was well-received by both players and critics, and Ubisoft later added free updates, including a New Game Plus mode and a permadeath option. Now, a new downloadable content (DLC) pack is currently in development for *Mirage*.

Ubisoft revealed the first look at the “Valley of Memory” DLC for *Assassin’s Creed Mirage* with a short trailer on Sunday. The trailer shows Basim and Dervis walking out of a valley and into a desert with old ruins in the distance. While the trailer doesn’t share many details about what the DLC will include, Ubisoft plans to announce everything tomorrow at 9 AM Pacific Time. Previously, Ubisoft confirmed that this update for *Mirage* will be free.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Announces “Valley of Memory” DLC

Fans of *Assassin’s Creed Mirage* have reason to be excited about a new, free expansion. Reports indicate that Savvy Games Group, a company linked to the Saudi Arabian government, helped fund the DLC, which will take place in a part of modern Saudi Arabia. Ubisoft has assured players that they will maintain complete creative control over the expansion, easing worries that outside funding might influence the game’s content.

The new DLC for *Assassin’s Creed Mirage* is launching at a great time, especially with the game recently added to Xbox Game Pass. This means subscribers will likely be able to try the DLC without any extra cost. The announcement also happens to coincide with the game’s second anniversary on October 5th. Ubisoft promises to share all the details about this exciting new expansion for *Assassin’s Creed Mirage* soon, so fans should keep an eye out for more information.
