Ubisoft announced it will release its financial report for the first half of fiscal year 2025-26 before trading begins on November 21st, 2025. This comes just days after the company initially delayed the report and paused trading, which led to a lot of discussion and guesses about the company’s situation.
Many people thought Ubisoft was about to announce something major, like being acquired by another company. That hasn’t happened yet, but we should have new financial reports to look at before the end of the week.
Ubisoft to Reveal Performance
So, I saw this report from TopMob last week, and apparently Ubisoft’s CFO explained why they paused trading. Basically, they were giving the reason behind the hold.
Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a quick update. We’re putting in a little extra work to wrap up the semester properly, so we’re going to push back releasing the first-half earnings results. You can expect them in the next few days instead of tonight. Sorry for the slight delay, but we want to make sure everything is perfect!
We’re currently limited by legal rules from sharing further details. To avoid rumors and keep the stock price stable while we finalize things, we’ve temporarily paused trading on Euronext until the results are public. We understand this will likely generate questions and attract media attention.
I recommend listening to the conference call – you’ll find it in the Investor section of our website – right after we release our earnings report. This will give you a more in-depth understanding of our financial performance.
Ubisoft has officially announced its financial results will be released before markets open on Friday, likely meaning they’ll be published tomorrow. While the company attempted to avoid rumors and speculation, this announcement has actually caused quite a bit of it, and hasn’t been addressed much publicly.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed things are shifting, and it seems Ubisoft agrees! They recently pointed out that we’re not buying as many games anymore, but when we do play, we’re really diving in and spending a lot more time with them. Because of that, it’s getting harder for a new game to really grab attention when it’s just a one-off release – it needs to be something really special to stand out from the crowd.
What are you expecting from Ubisoft’s financial update? Let me know on the TopMob Discord server.
