In the career mode of Umamusume Pretty Derby, one of the events is known as the Oka Sho. Although it may not be the hardest race in the game, it could present a challenge if you haven’t adequately prepared for its arrival.

The Oka Sho occurs in the early April of Turn 31, also known as the Classic season. It’s a high-grade race, specifically a G1 event, spanning approximately a mile or 1600 meters on grass. Given that many of the Umamusume are grass runners, it would be beneficial to concentrate your search for the optimal Uma who can excel in a mile race without any scheduling interferences.

For optimal performance throughout her career, aim for a balanced training routine that focuses on Wit, Stamina, and Speed. Make sure to include racing regularly to level up all three of your Uma’s unique skills.
Among all support cards, Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels) and Vodka (Wild Rider) stand out as top choices, particularly when it comes to making your Uma character achieve maximum speed. Alternatively, consider experimenting with Agnes Digital’s Power card or the Wit card with Final Motion for a different approach.
