Players must defeat enemies before their health depletes. As you progress through waves and face stronger enemies, the damage from the Mist increases, creating a more challenging situation.

Survive The Gas has a helpful feature: when you heal the character currently taking damage, your whole team receives a small amount of healing too. This makes it easier to keep your team alive over time and extends how long they can stay in battle. Because of this, having one or two dedicated healers is highly recommended for this stage of Arknights: Endfield. Good choices include Operators like Ardelia, Gilberta, and Ember, but many 5-star Operators can also provide healing.

Teams in Arknights: Endfield like Last Rite often include both Ardelia and Xaihi for reliable healing, making the team much harder to defeat. However, if your damage dealers are powerful and you’re skilled at avoiding attacks, a single healer can be enough, as long as you monitor your team’s health. For example, a Laevatain team can succeed if you prevent members from being defeated, and you can achieve this by using Ardelia’s healing ability when needed.

Umbral Monument Stage 2 – Unorthodox Tactics

This level is tricky – it’s amusing, but also challenging. Enemies in Unorthodox Tactics don’t move, which seems easy, but the longer they stay alive, the more powerful they become and the harder they are to stun. Therefore, it’s best to use teams that deal a lot of burst or area-of-effect damage to defeat them quickly.

Umbral Monument Stage 3 – Ballista And Axe

The final stage of the Umbral Monument in Arknights: Endfield features the Ballista and Axe enemies. You’ll encounter two tough opponents – the Bonekrusher Executioner and Bonekrusher Ballista – both with equal health. They hit incredibly hard, and sustained attacks can quickly defeat your operators. Prioritizing dodging their attacks is more effective than trying to damage them, as their hits are devastating.

The level begins with the Bonekrusher Executioner appearing in the center of the arena. It constantly spins and jumps, seeking out the player and attacking with close-range area-of-effect attacks.

Once you defeat the Bonekrusher Executioner, the Bonekrusher Ballista will appear and start attacking your current character. It deals significant area-of-effect damage from a distance, so pay attention to its attacks to avoid taking a lot of damage.

Once the Bonekrusher Ballista is defeated, two Bonekrushers will appear, starting a new phase where they share a single health pool. This phase focuses on the Executioner chasing your character closely, while the Ballista attacks from afar. This is generally considered the most challenging stage within the Umbral Monument.
